On second thought, you probably wouldn't want to do this job without jacking up the truck. Even on a perfectly level surface, the truck might lean to one side a little more than the other, making it difficult to line up the bolts for the sway bar bushing brackets. I apologize for the brief moment of insanity.
Hi guys, is there someone that could tell me the bolts threads pitch length and grade or even better GM part # somehow dealership could not. Sway bar is 36mm diameter although its probably universal throughout the platform It’s a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd 6.6L V8 diesel Duramax Crew cab 4x4
I have the same truck, even the same color. It can be a tight space under there when I do not jack it up when lubing all 98 grease fittings on this truck. It feels like 98 of them anyway.
