- Confinement for sheep is easy and efficient! Confinement for sheep really makes our life simple, feeding is the only occasional hassle with confinement and of course changing their bedding every 2 weeks. Otherwise confinement in my mind is the only way to raise sheep and lambs during winter. Winter makes it hard to keep lambs alive sometimes based on harsh winter weather that your climate commonly receives.
