How? He put Torres over VVD. Torres couldn’t get a game at the start of the season and is only playing cos Ming’s injury. Liverpool have the best defensive record in the league and villa have conceded 9 more goals. VVD has been the best centre back in the world

Another point for bringing Umir back, he can articulate himself so well that it actually helps the rest of you think better imo. His explanations and logic behind his choices seemed to almost “jog” everyone else on the tables memories and allowed for some really good football talk! Love this lineup for real

Just because a picks oblivious like Allison, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pick them because their oblivious for a reason, this season Allison has been the best gk in the world to my knowledge and is the whole reason Liverpool are even in a title race, and he’s made their defensive line look better than it actually is by picking up and sweeping numerous balls which break through their defensive line due to the attacking nature of their defence.

Umir, the newcomer, was a breath of fresh air, bringing the balance of a man who can laugh but also has good ball knowledge, and the way he talks, you just know he's a baller.

Sean Dyche and Ange Postecoglou both deserve a shoutout for Manager of the season so far.
I agree 100 per cent if dyche still keeps Everton up after the 10 point deduction it will be a miracle.
I believe we could talk about Estupinan as the best left back at the end of the season, he started crazy this year but got injured and then came back against Tottenham and dominated in every game since then. Brighton has really missed him on both sides of the field and with Mitoma back in a couple of weeks we could see that pairing cook up a storm for many teams.
Finally, finally, finally Allison is getting the credit he deserves and when he is done will rank in that top 3 of all time comfortably.

I am a Barcelona fan, and I remember Adriano Correia. We signed him as a midfielder, because that was his position when he played for Sevilla, but we played him as a LB because of Abidal's illlness. Not a great LB, but he tried to do the best he could and he was a pretty good footballer. His shooting was monstrous!

A rogue shout for lb is Groß. Ik he hasn’t played that many games there but bro plays every position to a high level: lb, rb, dm, more advanced in midfield. Feels like every season they’ll be a couple week period where people talk about how underrated he is and then no one mentions his name for another 10 months. Haven’t finished the vid yet so maybe he gets a shout out but just felt like he deserves a shout for the lb spot just cause the midfield is much more stacked and he has played lb incredibly this season. Pau had a rocky start when having to replace Mings running that high line, but honestly now is one of our best players. Probably the most progressive CB in prem if you look across number of progressive passes, accuracy of passes, and progressive carries.

Digne has been good at Left Back, 2 assists in prem 3 assists and a goal in Conference League so worth a mention. I wouldn't put him above Udogie though. Defence was shaky early in season (Liverpool game case in point) but really solid later on, unfortunately picked up an injury. We're lucky to have Moreno as cover.
Kamara- So underrated it's criminal! Though McGinn and Luiz are all equally class.
Watkins- 9 Goals 8 assists (plus another 5 goals in conference league), few behind Son and Solanke in prem but his assists more than make up for it.
Bailey and Diaby both deserve shout outs, especially Bailey with 6 goals and 5 assists (plus 3 G and 3 A in Conference League). But yer you can't put him ahead of Salah

Phil Foden is a brilliant player but this thing of him being a luxury player isn't totally untrue.
Is he a luxury player in the City team? No. Would he be a luxury player in Man United? Then I would say yes, as we need different types of the players. Whereas if we had a player like Rodri it would be the opposite as he is the kind of player that we are calling out for
