This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; a survival audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. 2 of them(Ko WooRim and Cho MinGyu) are classically trained opera singers. The guy with rough textured voice is a musical actor (Bae DooHoon) and the soprano & rock guy(Kang HyungHo) was a research chemist who used to sing as an amateur rock vocalist. Hi thanks for your review! Forestella is not actually a boy band or Kpop group. They are a classical crossover group like Il Divo. The bass and one of the tenors are opera singers. One is a musical actor and one (the countertenor!) was a chemical engineer without any professional musical training before Forestella. They are capable of so many different genres. Here are 3 of their more recent performances, one a cover of Ed Sheerans's "Shape of You" in 3 different languages, one of the English folk song (made famous by Simon & Garfunkel) called "Scarborough Fair" and a cover of a song called "Inner Universe" from a Japanese manga franchise.
