I used peanut butter and baking soda the next morning all around was mice poo and the next morning same thing i dont think its kills they coudnt digest it for sure but doesnt kill
It does work 100% it can take up to 8hrs to take effect they gas up and can’t burp or pass wind. You probably have a load to get they normally go somewhere to die mainly the nest…. Then family members eat the dead 😮
the only way to truly test this method is to trap a live rodent and feed it this concoction and see if it lives or dies and how long it takes while its in a observable setting
Peanut butter , jiffy cornbread mix and baking soda works well. I've rolled up big balls of the mixture and put it out around the yard. Haven't seen many around at all.
At least with rat snap traps - you get an immediate visible evidence. One dead rat - only a couple thousand to go. Bait... they go back to the burrow or wherever and you never know.
I had a empty container that had remnants of refried beans in it I added two tablespoons of rice flour 2 tbsp of baking soda and that night they ate it up. And I also had some sandwich cookies which I took apart equal amount of baking soda and cornmeal on them put them back together and put a pinch of peanut butter on top, they ate it up
I use any kind of cooking oil to coat the cat food pellets and then sprinkle on abundant quantities of baking soda. The rats have consumed a fair amount of the baking soda. I'm going to enhance the concoction with plaster of paris powder. The oil will make the baking soda - a little more waterproof from the elements. I put the bait out in plastic zip lock bags.
Update please on the Plaster of Paris? I am trying Plaster of Paris and Jiff Cornbread mix right now, without the Peanut butter. I do see some debris around the containers, so I assume its being eaten.
Does'nt the moisture in the peanutbutter activate the soda? So it is "spend" before the rats eat it? I think it should be kept dry. I use polenta with bicarb of soda.
I want to make try this baking soda mixture. I wonder what can I put the mixture in that the mouse can come in to eat but the mixture can’t get wet, I might have to buy a bait station. I want to keep the mixture outside. Mice has been coming in my garage. I am placing several mouse traps in my garage. Thanks for the video.
@@tammyfritschie1697 I am now using plaster of paris, mixed with an assortment of items like chicken boulion, dry instant pudding peanut butter... pretty much anything with a strong smell. I have multiple stations set up through out my house. I see them eating it. Then its no sounds of them for a couple days then it start again when a new set wonder in. The problem will keep coming back because its pretty much impossible to stop them from coming in. I seen them squeeze through an space thats totally impossible to see with an magnifying glass!! Honestly, I live in the country in the middle of multiple fields, so my goal is to keep the numbers down and hopefully get them before they multiply, so get a big tub of plaster of paris and keep the stations fresh at least once a week refresh them. Will rat poison kill mice? I literally put 10 full plates of RAT poison in a house where the people were away for an extended period. I came back a few days later. ALL 10 PLATES WERE CLEANED OFF. How is this possible? I will see if I can find which brand I used.
I used "Rodent Kiler" by Victor company. Like I said, I used 10 HEAPING AND FULL PLATES OF THIS. i put 5 plates in the basement and 5 plates upstairs. Every plate was completely cleaned off.
But then you have dead rats somewhere hidden away till they stink? Or maybe a cat or other predator will eat them. The problem is that evolution will select any rat that knows how to burp as a survivor!
I found the best method of mixing peanut butter with backing soda is by wearing rubber Groves, After mixing 50/50 in a plastic boll then a small amount of any cooking oil and cover the inside, Wareing the gloves which inturn coats the gloves, When properly mixed make small balls and put them into a sealed plastic container with a good fitted lid and place in the freezer untill needed😮Hope this tip helps!!😊🇬🇧👍

I haven’t seen any in several weeks.
all muffin mixes work they cannot resist.
I hope this helps

I just do 1/3 sugar, flour and baking soda. They get down on it.
Do you have an update video? Did this work?
Maybe it didn't work :/
Should have came to comment section first and not wasted my time
It wont work because he put his scent on the trap. Always wear gloves.
@@robertrocha597so it will work just wear gloves
@@MerkabeAsye I agree but he didn't. That was my comment. Some rats learn the pattern and won't eat from the same trap also. Lol they are super smart.

half mixture/half peanut butter
Will they hurt a cat if one eats the rat?
I like the way the coffee grinder made the stray sunflower seed dance like a cockroach.
Where's the rest of it where is the point did it work or not?!!?
It's been a year. I have a rodent issue. How did it work for you?
Great idea, but use a fork to mix it...stick mixing was agonising.
Since you can clearly see them coming to the bait, why not just be ready to shoot them with a pellet gun?
Not a safe space to shoot them.
WHAT KIND OF TEASE IS THAT!!!

I think it should be kept dry. I use polenta with bicarb of soda.
I wonder if this is true.
I don't think moisture is an issue.
Acid, such as stomach acid or vinegar will cause the reaction.
@@TheDajoca I definitely do not put acid or stomach acid into my cakes, haha
Why couldn't you use a regular spoon?
Didn’t have one while making video.

I put it under a table outside when it started raining. Kept it dry.
Polenta. Made from corn, they love corn.
also mix in powder instant potato!! Make them find water and die instantly baking soda can take a couple days
I have tried potato flakes. It feeds them well. It doesn't kill them. Maybe mixed with baking soda will make the difference to make it work.
