The fungus Cordyceps sinensis has been described in old Chinese medical books from ancient times, and is also found in Tibetan medicine. It is a rare combination of a caterpillar and a fungus and found at altitudes above 4500m in Sikkim. Traditional healers and local people of North Sikkim recommend the mushroom, i.e., Yarsa gumba, Keera jhar (C. sinensis) for all diseases either as a single drug or combined with other herb. The fungus Penicillium from which the antibiotic penicillin is derived is the most famous medicine of the age, and the most potent hallucinogen agent Lysergic acid diethylamide (LCD), has also been derived from the plant - parasite ergot fungus Claviceps purpurea.

Cordyceps was the first "natural" supplement I ever took that immediately and intensely worked. I was just starting out running after getting sober. I really liked it, but I didn't have the stamina, especially in my lungs, to go as far as I wanted to early on. Started taking this stuff (powdered, just mixed in water) and the first time I went out I had twice the lung capacity and my head stayed calmer. It was incredible, and way past anything I could attribute to to placebo. Unfortunately for me, it had the side effect of giving me horrible GI issues after a few days use. But I'll never forget how impressed I was with it.

Not how evolution works. It's the path of least resistance, maintaining intelligence is more resistance. It's only in the particular circumstance where increased intelligence literally saves a species, that intelligence is evolved. Think of it this way, why doesn't all viruses kill their hosts? It's a path with increased resistance, that's why viruses evolve to not bother their hosts too much, because all the virus "wants" is to propagate by replication, like any lifeform would. If, and only if, intelligence leads to increased or improved propagation, only then can intelligence evolve. If a random mutation which increases intelligence imposes an increased resistance to propagation, it will be deemed a "less fit" mutation for survival. There's no inherent benefit with increased intelligence, it just happened to be.

Big pharma wants ppl to remain sick. I'm 100% convinced, why are they not for profit. I'm healing by having a happy spirit, reducing stress, tumors love stress & they love sugar and bad processed meat/junk food. Better to be plant based but I wouldn't say no to fresh Game meat. Its all about your mind & mentality, what you feed your mind, what you feed your body. I'd stay far far away from doctors who want to push you pills before asking any real questions like, what's stressing you out, are you depressed, things like that. Disease is telling the body that something in life has got to change. And I wasn't any overweight sit on my ass all day type of gal, I did yoga, gymnastics, sports, it was the trauma that I was carrying the unstable home, moving from house to house that played a part in my journey. I got into lion's mane recently, taking it with vitamin C every day for increased absorption and it's GREAT! After researching different brands, i wasn't impressed with host defense. I saw it wasn't pure and it was cut with grain...Mine's a mycelium based alcohol extract and i researched that as being the best as far as absorption of the polysacchrides, terpines, and Beta Glucans... It just surprises me that someone who is at the forefront of this research would put out an inferior product...

I was shocked also after doing some research…I keep telling myself there’s some kind of logical explanation.

I've take alcohol based lionsmane and chaga but didn't see any effects. But cordyceps in capsule form is good
