@@howlingzangetsu nah, it gets fog bladed, RDA player tries to do anything, Flare Metal burns, Beelze continuously activates even though it's negated, same result.
@@TheBradleydalton Fog blade kills the ftk. If beelz is negated it can't gain attack therefore flare metal can't burn. The RDA player did lose because they didn't swing into flare metal.

@@dagothurik1815 Flare Metal goes off on Effect Activation regardless if the effect is negated and Beelze's attack gain effect is mandatory every time the trigger condition is met.

That first duel is some main antagonist versus jobber shit. The opponent was playing checkers. Stove was playing chess.

The beautiful thing about the first replay is: How often it is for you to run against a player summoning its own Beelze while you have Flare Metal Dragon in your Extra Deck? It's just exquisite.
If you're playing a rank 7 turbo deck, it functions as a braindead auto win against certain decks.
Might as well just use it. It's not like we're actually doing any complex combos
The fact that it also masochist run makes it even crazier. What are the chances of randomly pulling Flare from the master pack, playing against opponents who choose to summon Beelze, and having a hand that can summon a rank 7 monster on the first turn.
I remember it happened often enough back in 2015-2016 when Flare Metal Dragon and Beelze were new cards, but nowadays I'm amazed it happened at all
And that same hand also had two ways to prevent Flare Metal being ran over Beelze.

Hey, the 3rd Danny vid I made it into! I'm the Duelist B(lue-Eyes) player in the second duel.
Fun fact: I was not grinding for a replay here. I just play and enjoy Blue-Eyes casually when I wanna have fun. I then ran into the world's strongest Labrynth player and had to show them real Kaiba gaming (and also make them learn what the first line of text is on Jet Dragon).
Funny thing is all he had to do was make Chaos Angel in MP 2 to eat the Jet, since Azure does not protect things summoned after itself, and he would have easily won from that position but no he clearly has not read any of the blue-eyes stuff.
So that's why they call him Hardleg haha. Danny is a commander type streamer who gives passive buffs to his subscribers.

I'm used to seeing Baronne and Savage getting used against people who spam them(and doing it myself in all manner of decks). Doing it with Dis Pater and Lord Omega is even funnier though.
The fact that the RDA guy could have been safe if they had just enter battle phase and try to run over flare metal...
But then again few people knew of the Beelze FTK so thats understandable
I'm mad at myself for misplaying, a second after I summoned the flare metal I realized that if I had just summoned it in defense I would have won either way
If they go to battle I just titanocider the beelze in damage step to drop it to 0, and then the beelze triggers on the battle damage
As someone pointed out in another comment thread, this wouldn't have worked. Fog Blade would stop it from attacking. And even if Beelze is negated, its effect is mandatory, so it'll still attempt to gain attack every time Flare Metal burns it.

Grass is perhaps the funniest card to not be banned. Any time it comes up, it will NOT be fair, but God it's hilarious.
Even with 40 cards in the deck, you are guaranteed to draw the only Spirit of White in the deck in your starting hand...

I will fully admit that the SHS player should have had me dead if they used the steam train king's effect to pop the fountain before doing the burn effect. Good thing they didn't see that line.
I remember playing against a EARTH pile that I had dead to rights until they topdecked Grass. I was pretty mad for about a minute.

I have a funny replay from the recent event where i was losing using the twin souls(or whatever its called) fusion deck loaner against a paleo xyz deck and got him to attack into a 0 attack token with 2 honests in my hand when he was at 800 LP after using rollback a couple times
