Just saw The Catalinas 3 weeks ago in Georgetown, SC. The crowd went crazy when they did this. And Johnny Barker was there jamming on the keyboard’s with a slight smile of satisfaction that people still get excited about his anthem to summer and Beach Music. Can’t wait to see the Catalinas again

I heard the group in Charlotte, N.C. I worked three summers at Landmark Hotel M.B.S.C. early 1970's and loved every moment!! Great times and memories!!!!!

I'll probably listen to Carolina Beach music until the day I die. A friend of mine, Greg Elkins, used to play for the _Coastline Band_ and now is with the _Blackwater Band._ They're very popular.
