It always amazes me when you have a bright yellow jacket on and a rake and can be quite clearly see to be clearing a drain, that some drivers dont think "Wow what a great guy doing that I will slow down and avoid splashing him with oil coated water like everyone else" to "I don't care about that guy" and soak you. Well we all now who is the better person. Great job really enjoyed the whirlpool's. Keep safe from the UK.

As bad as it is watching the rude drivers, just as upsetting watching you have to clear a drain because of the many people that can't find a trash can. Come on people, pick up after yourselves, the street is not a place to toss your trash.

It’s not that they can’t find a bin, it’s just that they are ignorant, lazy, incompetent, and pathetic. Just like of the commenters on this thread. I see people walk past a bin then throw it in a garden or whatever, or as I saw in reverse a lady went away from the direction to put rubbish in a trolley when she was walking past a bin anyway.

Great job. Doing that might have just saved someone with kids from having a wreck or getting stalled out. It amazed me on watching this to see the drivers that DID recognize what you were doing and you could clearly tell they slowed down as not to splash you. All the others did it on purpose. I've been sick in bed this past week and binge watching all sorts of stuff. British black and white movies, lawn cleanups, before and after and even drain clearings.
I did one once, years ago when I was about 20 years old. In the back yard of a friends house it was flooded almost to the back deck. In the back yard was a culvert that sat on all four corners of property. It was during the summer and my friends wife was absolutely panicked that it would get in the basement. uhm,.... lol... I put on my swim trunks and a pair of really old tennis shoes. I took an old garden tool. A wooden stick with a forked metal on the end used to dig up crabgrass. I went out and could clearly see it was clogged and it was still raining. I started jamming that stick down there until I saw a few holes give way to some air bubbles and knew it was filled full of leaves and I mean leaf central. I went back up to the deck and put a beach towel around me and sat there and watched it drain and it took about 10 minutes to wear it was safe again. That was FUN.
