This team is such a X-Men vs Street Fighter team, Gambit, his girl and his homie.
Gambit needs a solo movie, such an underrated character his abilities are sick
There suppose to be by 20th century studios but its nothing but production issue.
I would like an animated mini series based on Gambit
With the way he moves, it should be an anime
I rather not especially from woke Disney whatever movie you wanted you can say goodbye to it plus they don't even follow the comics they just make anything up
@@uholyknight2102 Nah, that movie I think was after the Origins Wolverine movie but because that was so badly received they basically killed everything related to it.
That title perfectly explains the entire appeal of...pretty much all of Capcom's crossover fighters.
You know there just something so charming about sprites than 3D models.
Sprites seem to age better than 3d models as well.
In case no one mentioned it, perhaps the biggest difference between the wolverines is that bone claw can do fatal cow for a super which can be pretty decent for coverage
For Wolverine: I think Boneclaw Wolverine does more damage than Adamantium Claw Wolverine, but also has less health. I believe there's also differences in their hyper moves. One of them has a hyper that lets them increase their speed, and I think only one of them has a "giant X" slash they can do in midair.
Those last two points are both from adamantium wolverine. They also differ:
-Assists (adamantium assists are his specials, bone assists are normals; bone claw has one of the few low-hitting assists in the game),
-bone claw can tornado claw in the air
-adamantium has berserker slash
-both have drop kicks but attack at different angles
-bone claw does more damage, like you said, but also has a bit more reach.
Among other things
Comic book wise, it should be the opposite since Wolverine has a better regeneration with the boneclaws and would do less damage than adamantium claw but it’s still neat that there’s actual differences between the two.
Yea Boneclaw does more damage but he's a hemophiliac lol
what i remember is that the adamantium claw wolverine have a super called "fatal claw" which he drastically boosts its speed for a short period of time, the other one doesn't have.

Number one thing about the MvC series, is that we need Dark Sakura to come back. I freaking loved playing as her in the first and second game.
We need Sakura to get tanned again.

Hearing Cap's old "CHARGING STAR" voice line brought on such primal nostalgia in me it was a physical reaction, leaning back in the chair with a huge dumb smile on my face. We uh... We might need that remaster y'all were talking about.
i see all these combos dropped and im like thats me - i have totally forgotten how to play mvc2 optimally...lol 😅
I really hope the buzz from Max's twitter campaign does something. My friend and I got into MvC with the MvC3 re-release before Infinite came out and we love it. We want to play MvC2 so bad but we don't have any good way to do that. It's really unfortunate how difficult it is to play MvC2 nowadays.
I agree it is difficult. Im using redream on android to play currently.
Digital eclipse is trying to talk with Disney, Capcom, and Marvel on bringing back the game. we'll see what happens.
@@dreamerfrostbite2066 Hope it works out. Those Arcade1Up cabinets show us that they're not totally opposed to new MvC stuff so there's at least a little hope. Can't wait for some sort of MvC2 re-release, I already know who my team is gonna be lol

Cammy - She's my favourite Street Fighter character
Jill - She's my second favourite RE character (after Leon) and RE1 Jill is my favourite version of Jill
Servbot - Because he's funny, adorable, and I know playing a character that small will annoy my friend to hell and back lol
I want to play a team completely different from my UMvC3 team (Spider-Man, Vergil, Doctor Doom), and I want to use characters I like and know I will have fun with, as opposed to the top tiers. I'm playing to have fun, not win EVO haha
I always thought the difference between bone claw and adamantium claw wolverine was that bone claw wolverine played a lot like his X-Men versus Street fighter version, only he takes a lot of damage because he has bone claws and not adamantium. Meanwhile adamantium wolverine plays a lot like he did in Marvel versus Capcom..
So, if you are a fan of the Marvel versus Capcom version wolverine then the adamantium one is for you. But if you like the X-Men versus Street fighter combos and trust me he had combos for days, bone claw was your choice, just mind the damage

@@Keezawea No problem. Once I saw two wolverines in this game all those years ago I was curious as to why but then I remember the fatal attractions storyline in the X-Men comics and it made sense

Rouge is better in X-Men vs Street Fighter. She uses one of her opponent's technique.
I ran so many different teams as a kid but my mainstays were Iceman and Cable. Such a classic game and there will never be anything close to it again
I love the Shinryuken. It's so bad.
Also this makes me want to drag my cabinet out of storage and just play a bunch.
Those Sakura/Akuma synergy combos were great.

That last player, how he win 2 matches, he think could humillate Max choosing Roll, then start losing all matches XD
Lol that’s exactly what happened he got caught up on his own hype and he wasn’t even that good. I’ve experienced players like that in fightcade where I’ll try to experiment with different characters and they beat me and then they think I suck so they’ll choose serve bot and roll as their characters and then I’ll choose my mains and completely humiliate them the rest of the way.
I think they are playing on Ratio right?, so its all more even
It's so good to see OTHER characters played in this game. Gets so boring seeing the same "top tier" teams over and over and over.
Ive had the most fun ever just playing low tiers tbh.

*Quoted for Truth.* 😤👍 I refrained from watching MVC2 tournaments for _YEARS_ after everybody kept coming back to the same seven characters...
That was part of the reason I gave up the game cause the variety of having this huge roster being boiled down to maybe 5 was so sad. So much good synergy in this game if you just wanna look and as the title says, so much cool shit you can do. Seeing people play this again using thus points system returns the visual variety lacking in 'top' play. It's so good. more so giving it has brought out some of the old character specialists again.
Since I bought and as long as I played MvC2 back 21 years ago on Dreamcast, I never knew Rouge could kiss Akuma and do his ragging demon 😳
Used to use Rogue's discount wave dash. Solid lead into combo 90% of the time

@@AlriikRidesAgain Take a special move, not super. Only super was the demon. Tho I like this version a little more as it's more universally useful. And some of the power you can get are interesting. Stealing special modes from characters and using them against them is fun.
Mispronouncing Rogue's name. Rouge means red, and is also the name of a sonic character. Rogue is like the class in an mmo, fast and hits hard but kinda frail

For years I tried figuring out how you do rouges special with outh the grab
Rouge was such a good character even if some of her tools were harder to aces like her crouching medium punch lunge. There was something fun about garbing Colossus when he uses his super armour and getting that ability off him, that lasted longer then when he did it for free. I know people preferred her stealing a move proper but I like the 'attribute' steal just as much, and its only really right giving the size of the roster.
What is the thought process for these types of fighting games? I feel like its pretty hard to follow at times with the different assists and tag ins/outs? As well as overrall team building?
some of those pixels are so sharp they hurt the eyes.
There is still something uber cool about MvC 2D sprites supermoves.

I forgot how beautiful this game is. I fired up my PS3 yesterday and played some. I was trash, but good gods was it a helluva fun time!

Bone and Adamantiam Wolverine have different command normals, assists, special and super moves. But yes they are both pretty bad lol

What version of the game is this? Dreamcast/Arcade on emu? Or is this the PS3/360 release? I thought that was widescreen tho
It's the NullDC-BEAR emulator. It's very easy to install but a pain to play online vs if you don't have coordination with your oponent to connect to a match.
Sadly, is not as easy to play it online like the other games are in Fightcade 2.
Any clue on how max is playing mvc2 online? My guess is fightcade but the playerbase on that is kinda small isnt it?

It's an emulator for NAOMI roms with netplay. If a port came out, it would be the same thing essentially, unless it gets a physical release.
