A look at medieval Sheffield through its castle and lords

Sheffield, England, has a huge industrial heritage but its early medieval history is largely missing. This video tries to piece together some of this history by looking at the town through the lords of its ancient castle, the Furnivals and Talbots.

Good work. Here in Sheffield the castle catches the public consciousness. It is a thing of wonder to local people, even though it is now Archaeological remains.
