I’m fascinated by the shift in opinion about this relationship by the general public over the last 10 years. 10 years ago, you had a pretty equal split of people saying “that’s weird” and “good for them”. Fast forward 10 years it’s constant vitriol directed toward her. Something has gone terribly wrong with our society if people now think it’s ok to demonise somebody who has been in a successful relationship for 11 years, purely on the basis of how old her husband was when they met.

Yes, love is love. And I see that she played a big role for him to become more mature by the time he was like 19-20. As a 17 year old person I think people should get mature and learn the life by themselves. Because you can't get to your best personality without making few mistakes. And on those times she played like a mother and led him all the way through his 20s. I think he should have learned all these by himself and had some time to explore himself and the world. These two are very interesting. They seem awkward in front of the camera, very similar in personality really. Though if you notice photos of them...he is always touching her, guiding her, they seem very much in love. Lets just leave it at that. When I first saw a picture of them at the premiere for Kick Ass, I thought "How sweet. He took his mother with him." Then I found out that was his pregnant fiancee. This is just so sick and wrong. Its one thing to date someone significantly older when you're an adult, but he is barely an adult. He was still in his teens when they got together. And now they're having a child who has to deal with the embarrassment of having a really young father and a really old mother.
