Fulltime 4wd (on hybrid only), 24 mpg, adaptive variable suspension, 460lbft torque. This is the perfect truck for me. Not too big just right. The PNW gets rain 8 months a year, fulltime 4wd is ideal. It is basically like my gx460 but with a bed and more power. 90% of people dont offroad or need crawl control or a locker.

Has it got a full time 4wd mode as standard? If not, why not?
Only the Hybrid Limited has full time 4wd.
So nice that Toyota has provided this pavement princess to you. Not interested due to many features that I would be paying close to $ 60k for. I have not heard what mpg to expect with the "plastic chin" removed featured in this model.
How big of a difference would you say there is on Highway ride quality between this limited vs the TRD sport that you reviewed awhile back?
I say they are comparable, though you saw about every mile I drove in the Sport... (not that many)

That engine looks pig-ugly. Surely they could have fitted a cover over all that black spaghetti.
The styling? Looks good and I hope this will also be the Thailand and South African built next generation HiLux, but with the 2.8 diesel plus electric engines. The front air dam and rear exhaust outlet need deleting because they compromise approach and departure angles.
Right ! Between the engine components and hybrid system. It just looks god awful under the hood
