You're an absolute demon on guitar. I can't imagine how long it took you to learn this song. Any recommendations on how to learn faster songs like this? Fastest stuff I could ever do was Death. I played for about 14 years, I quit playing a year or two back and started playing again recently. Just got too damn frustrated trying to learn the faster stuff and complicated solos.

Deicide is one of these bands where accuracy is second to brutality, so not nailing it 100% doesn't really matter if you want to capture the aggression. If you wanna learn some death metal but not as fast as this song, go have a look at my Bolt Thrower covers for instance, or Dismember, those are easier but super fun to play and get back into it! As for Atheist and Cynic, I'd have to listen to them more, and more carefully. I know they are two very technical bands so it would take some time but honestly why not!

I love the guitar tone👹 its weird cause on my guitar amp if i plug in headphones it sounds really good but when i play my amp in the room loud it sounds no where near as good as with my headphones. Should i upgrade the amp speakers maybe?
Well to be fair I play through a guitar effect directly on my computer and not through an amp. Maybe with the headphones you get a richer sound that you can only get by cranking the amp very loud? I am really not an expert though
@@TbombGuitar yeah i think that is true because with headphones in an amp you need to turn the amp up way more to get a loud enough sound in the headphones compared too just the amp without headphones
This is one of the most complicated songs I got to tab out and it really did take me ages to do, so I can understand why every single tab out there is wrong... The devil is in the detail!
So I can tell you eared the Tabs, because they are not correct. I mean they are correct in the sound of the note but not the placement. Certain placements are closer than you have laid out but whatever works for you dude
Hey man, indeed the tabs were made by ear, but also always checking with live footage for hand positionning etc. Which hand positionning do you believe are wrong?
Yeah it would be hard for me to explain which ones. I'd have to write out the tabs myself. But, you have a couple situations where your making unnecessary transitions that are too far away down the neck, that you can make a transition simpler and easier by finding the same chord in the general area of the last chord transition instead of climbing the neck so far away in some cases. But I'm not trying to dog ya, whatever is more comfortable for you. I appreciate the vids. @@TbombGuitar

I appreciate what you are saying with transitions being too far up the neck etc. The way I approach each tab is not so much how to play it "right" but rather how to play it like the band does. That's why some things don't necessarily make sense, but that's how the band played them. It's especially true for Bolt Thrower for instance where they play riffs on the 12-15 frets low E string where they could easily do it on the D string, but you know, they wrote it this way!

Deicide used Randall RG200es amps on the first two albums. Alot of the Florida bands used Boss DS1 pedals to goose the gain.
I had heard about the DS1 trick, however you are sure about them using Randall's? In love footage you most often see stacks of Marshalls

Looking at the pix I have it looks like they were using the RG200es heads and 4x12 cabs
