  • So yeah, I beat this game a couple of days back, and I'm now obsessed with the soundtrack, lol. SERIOUSLY underrated game. Because of that though, I thought I'd make this.
I made every track around 5 minutes (more or less) for everyone's viewing pleasure.
    Time stamps:
    - 0:00:00 - Lacrimosa of Dana (don't judge, I think this is beautiful personally)
    - 0:05:00 - Being Slow On The Waves
    - 0:10:00 - Alone On The Deserted Island
    - 0:15:00 - The Drifting Village
    - 0:20:00 - Sound Of Night
    - 0:25:00 - Woods Of Elevated Coral Reef
    - 0:30:00 - Lost in Green
    - 0:35:00 - Eroded Valley
    - 0:40:00 - Ricordo
    - 0:45:00 - Yesterday In Etania
    - 0:50:00 - The Sibylline Road
    - 0:55:00 - Home From Home
    - 1:00:00 - Steel Myself For Battle
    - 1:05:00 - Royal Capital Aigius
    - 1:10:00 - A Slow and Deep Breath
    - 1:15:00 - One Dream, One Reality
    - 1:20:00 - Neglected Temple
    - 1:25:00 - Dana
    - 1:30:00 - Doni Della Terra
    - 1:35:00 - Garden Of Celen
    - 1:40:00 - Maia
    - 1:45:00 - Vanishing Trail
    - 1:50:00 - Everlasting Transeunt
    Enjoy! :)

@@DrKrFfXx000000000000 yeah but the thing is, it felt like ys 8 was gonna be that game, they upped graphics and detail so much it really felt like this would be the p5 of the ys series, it def brought in a good amount of new fans but not as many as it deserves or i would have thought.

@@lazerman3686 You're not wrong, Ys VIII upped the production value of the franchise, but releasing broken game ports, like that of PC, or the underperforming Switch port, doesn't do the franchise any favors. Plus games take too long to come out on the western market too.

something hilarious about Falcom's team is that they aren't exactly the best at translating and a few of their songs are misspelt, like yesterday in etania is supposed to be yesterday in eternia like how they spelled it in the game.

    • @hx9
      @hx9 Před 3 lety +4

NIS America did the translation. it was a 'huge' issue. Can read more about it here. Been 'fixed' since then, but there are still some gaps. They did a much better job on Trails of Cold Steel 3, another Falcom game they're localizing. www.polygon.com/2017/10/10/16455388/ys-8-localization-translation-patch-ps4-vita
