yeah you can run lights and winch off channel 1 in receiver. I have spectrum firma 2300Kv in my 2021 bronco and so far no issues. turn signals, reverse lights, and everything still works. Traxxas link also still works. its a win win !!!

Why cant parents tell their kids not to touch the model? I see this all the time. Especially with my air planes. I'm taxi-ing on the field and a kids running up to the plane with a spinning propeller just to touch it. And the parents say nothing! So I have to be the bad guy and say ," Ah ah....Don't touch." Why? 😄
lol... most parents do say dont touch it... its when the kid approaches it without parents where the hitting and touching happens... haha
It's mainly because it's unknown by the parents as well they don't know or understand stand the hobby it self its up to me and you to teach and educate them and in return we grow the hobby as well

Kids slapped my slash and pinned it down to the floor and basically made me motor over heat. Kids also picked it up and a kid dragged its front on the ground then touched the motor and burnt his hands. I had a "do not touch" sign on it and parents saw it bit guess what, people just don't care. Kids kept slapping its room

Mine pulled a 5th scale back to the house up hill when I ran out of fuel . Hooked a chain to the tow shackles on the hauler and the bumper of the 5th scale and drug it home

Love my hauler I had a factory five on the deck and a scx10 with a 56 ford body on a flat deck trailer and drove it for 8 hours at the car show last year

That 3 in 1 auto detailer after a quick hose rinse is key to keeping bodies like new. And after that I sometimes use spray wax to give a slightly better shine

I run 7.4 v on my traxxas receiver all the time and have on most of them for like a year now its fine
For your HW esc, you can solder part # 3070x and then use the power tap 6541x for a cleaner/stock look.

@@MarkSantaMaria no no thank you for doing what you do!! Hey I'm having an issue with a Protek servo. It's steering backwards. I've flipped the power wire around and it doesn't work. Any other ideas?
@@MarkSantaMaria actually.....I figured out the problem. It's my radio. The stock TQ radio doesn't have a steering reverse switch. Guess I should have said something to the guy a my LHS. Oh well, I'm still learning.

Hey Mark this is Vance from Patrion. Just thought I’d give ya a tip. To get the plug coming off the axe setup just solder a small hot and negative lead off ur battery posts and put a jst on other end. Just like the traxxas plug coming off the xl5.
I thought about that. They actually sell that now… its called a power tap. My fear is i run 3s. Do you think 11.1v is too much directly to the lights?
@@MarkSantaMaria I have mine this way and it only give 6v to lights as long as u have the traxxas power module. Mine is the axe 3300kv g2 setup. The traxxas light system regulates the amount going to lights.
