If you get the opportunity to do this in one of the sleeper cars, it's a totally different experience. We had the fortune of doing this route for Thanksgiving and it was absolutely amazing.

Fort Lauderdale is where we visit whenever we are in the area. We enjoy visiting.
I pass on trains, planes are so much better, even when a door plug pops out.

I have traveled on bus, plane, and Train and I find to that the train is a relaxing ride.
Last week I took the Amtrak from DC to Jacksonville. Initially, they sat me in a car PACKED with people going to south Florida - Ft Lauderdale, Miami, West Palm, etc.
I walked to the next car...almost no one in there! So I complained to the conductor and he said "These are the Amtrak rules, I have to put Florida people together" to which I pointed out how Jacksonville is only the first stop in Fl and I should have just gone to Savannah...
So I hid in the diner car for an hour or so, contemplating getting off the train in NC...eventually the conductor moves me to my own seat!
Very thankful for that...I would NOT have made it overnight sitting next to the first guy, who was clearly drinking beer since leaving NYC...
Wow, that sounds like quite the journey! It's good to hear that the conductor eventually found you a more comfortable seat. Traveling can be an adventure, but being crammed in a packed car is definitely not ideal. Glad it all worked out in the end! Would you ever consider taking Amtrak again, despite this experience?
I hope you guys have a great time in Ft. Lauderdale! At least you got a taste of train travel and you'll ALWAYS remember it, lol. FYI the audio is a bit rough. Sorry about the Jeep engine, you'll tell us about it in the next video? Safe travels!
Hi Cindy, it was worth the adventure but don’t see us doing it again 😊. As for the jeep, we plan on making a video about getting our title in SD but not about the engine issues.
Did you say you lost your jeep engine? I already know the story so I am asking a question redundantly. Looking forward to seeing the replacement vehicle on the channel soon. Maybe you can return to some camping or RVing soon???

We didn't plan on making a video about it (way too stressful!), but we're excited to share our replacement vehicle soon. Camping and RVing are not on the near horizon. We need to get our rentals fully functioning and start generating some cash. We are happy we didn't get the 4xe.

You could really gain great benefit by doing a little research on emotional intelligence (EQ). Watch and support. Restrain from pushing your ideologies onto others every chance you get.
