You can't be mad at Hound for having a PTSD reaction to fire. He's not a bad guy. He's protective. Always been a champion of the downtrodden. He protected Sansa, Arya, his healer guy, all those innocents, volunteers to go north of the wall, and protects them. Except Thoros. Because of fire. The Lord of Light could've protected him. But he was done with Thoros. Because he served his purpose.

It’s the dragon pit. They use to keep dragons underneath there. When the dragons all died. The last one tried to escape and hit the roof and it all came crashing down on it and the people.
I have a feeling Drogon could smell the death of his kin there, and that makes me so sad for him!!
I have to mention Bronn. Something people miss, I missed a thousand times: Bronn is checking preparations. Because he intends to fight for Jamie. But, if the tides turn, he mentions Tyrion, on the other side. Because he knows, without a doubt that he can swap sides almost anytime he wants. And, he can be truthful about that fact to both of them. Tyrion will always take him back. As will Jamie. All Bronn has to keep doing, is fighting. Then he can look around and decide what to do. Furthermore, at this point, he knows he will not have to betray Jamie or Tyrion because neither of them truly want him to hurt the other one. No matter what they say. Right now, they are over there spat, basically. And all three know that. But they have to follow through with all of this. Because they're working with mad queens.

Also. The magic in the wall went out along time ago. Once Brandon stark passed thru the gate. It was off. Just like he was able to enter that tree where the three eyed raven was. His mark is on him. The night king . He waited for the right time and Daenerys dragon. Because he too has the power of sight. It was a trap. And they walked right into it.
I NEVER LOST FAITH IN MY SISTERS SANSA AND ARYA. Little Finger didn't even realise he created someone who could destroy him all these seasons and Arya is just Arya. Arya is the strongest, Jon the bravest, Sansa the most politically savvy and Bran...the most magical?lol.
I agree, episode 6 was just one of the worst episodes from a writing perspective because how were they sure the Walker would survive being so far south? Didn't Tyrion tell them how much Cersei would cut her nose to spite her face so she would def not give af as long as everyone else died? Now the Night King got a double magic nuke, tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of men, Cersei now has it confirmed that dragons can be killed and that the North is the first in the NK's winter holiday plans.

The same way that the Night King was able to get into the Three Eyed Raven’s cave (by leaving his mark on Bran) he can now cross the wall cause Bran crossed it. Almost like he planned the whole thing.

Dany's father's name was actually Aerys. Jon "Aegon" was probably named after "Aegon The Conqueror" who united the 7 kingdoms long ago... Much more respectable than being named after the mad king

I never hard realized, but Arya is the daughter the Hound was never able to get for himself. And I don't mean how they act similar and what not, I'm purely simply talking about how Arya is the only person the Hound ever spend months protecting and caring for from his "feelings" rather than his "duty/job".
As someone who is kinda similar to the Hound, that breaks my heart. Someone looking for the love and care he never got, eventually still being strong and honorable enough to bring out that fatherly feeling for basically some random person that needed it. He was overflowing with goodness, looking for someone deserving to spend it on, he tried Sansa but it became Arya, although never having been taught how to externalize any feelings beyond violence and hate, he did SO well taking care of a little girl.
I wish they had underlined that more throughout the series, the hound having "fatherly proud" feelings for Arya, and especially the fatherly feelings Arya had for the Hound, knowing/understanding he'd literally, and technically did, give his life to try keep HER safe. I mean, her actual Dad Ned, allowed himself to be killed to save "someone else", but the Hound gave his life for Arya and Arya alone.
Remember what Cersei said to Littlefinger back in season 1? Power is power, that's all she wants. She's fascinating because she's so complex and crazy, but I hate her with the fire of a thousand suns!!😂😂 The cool thing about the dragon pit scene is everything you're seeing, you're now seeing in its glory in HOTD. It truly was magnificent.

It really is such a *stupid* 'mission' to get a wight to show to Cersei!!! This was a total face plant fail in the writing D&D did to get from point a to b to c, etc. Just LAZY and contrived bs. They should have had a full writer's room to work out the plot, but nooo! They thought they could do it themselves - and this is what they came up with!
And if anyone in this story would have absolutely know she would not give a damn, IT'S TYRION!!! This whole plot was just messy! It still pisses me off all of these years later! 😂

They weren't pressed for time. They got bored with it. They wanted Star Wars. So they quit early. Against GRRM AND HBO. George said it needed 2 or 3 more seasons at least. To be good.
The cast was done. Read the book of interviews. A LOT of them said if they had gone into season 8 knowing there was another one or two seasons, they would've quit. They were burned out. And I really don't like when people hate on season 7 and 8. The cast worked their butts off to make it happen, and it shows. They deserve better than people's vicious hatred. That one episode in season 8, they took almost 2 months to shoot, and many of them had the flu during the shooting. And yet that is still my favorite episode of the whole show. Were seasons 7 and 8 perfect? Nope. But if you look past a couple of things and pay attention to the rest, they're amazing. I think so anyway. I love how it all ended.
@@mamaseesa3122yeah if you look past the plot, the build up, the dialog and the outcomes, its great. The acting and cinematics are good ill give them that. Unfortunately, when you dont look past all the other stuff, its absolutely awful.

Sansa’s SPEECH! listen she made me a stannn from that moment on! (honestly from the moment she had Ramsey’s dogs devour him) i’ve never been one to hate Littlefinger as i’ve enjoyed his character, but his time was up.
the stupid meet up in King’s Landing will never make sense. i guess it was nice to see all our faves finally link up or reunite, but the writing this season definitely took a hit. the action scenes never missed though.

This is one of my favorite episodes of the series..... mostly for the Baelish moment, to be honest. Right up there with "A Golden Crown 1x6"
This is at the end of the day a story of absolute power, how "absolute power reveals" and the perils of one-minded pursuit of absolute power.' .....'It's not what I want, it's what honor demands.' Now here is finally a ruler who makes a decision not out of the need to display strength, or out of greed, or fear, or anger, or impulse, or because they're convinced they're the divine Chosen One. She does so inspite of herself, simply because it's the right thing to do. Even when she stands up to say her last words to Baelish, she's got a tear in her eye. Curious detail. How we exercise the power entrusted on us says a lot about ourselves. Everytime Dany executed someone she had them Charles Manson lamps glowing in her eyes. She's so proud of herself she damn near looks orgasmic watching other people die. That's the difference between the two.

The Night's king waited for the dragon, he had glimpses of the future just like Brandon did. They didn't go for he Horn of Winter in the show so they came up this storyline, a magical dragon bringing down the wall.
"She got a roach in her".....Lmfaoo the way I screamed. She's been the downfall to her entire legacy. She didn't discipline Joffrey so he ended up dead. She chose the Mountain who killed Oberan, which led to Marcella's death. She decided to blow up the sept leaving poor Tommen feeling helpless and ending his life. Two things I agree on. The trip to capture a white was unnecessary, just like it wasn't necessary for them to provide Cersi with proof of it. I smile everytime Sansa used Littlefinger's words against him. I enjoyed Brienn telling the Hound the Arya is the one others should fear lol. Ready for you to start Season 8 just for your antics lmfao.
Tyrion believed Cersei because he wanted to believe her. Since Daenerys set foot in Westeros he was like "don't attack KL, don't attack the Red Keep, don't do this, don't do that" because he wanted to protect his family. He wants Daenerys to get the throne, but he wants both his siblings to survive. He even admitted it to Cersei in this episode.
Also in this episode we see Sansa discussing about betraying Jon, BEFORE Bran tells her what he knows about the past. Sansa admits that she's afraid of Arya if she betrays Jon. We have seen many times before, that she wants so much to rule and be in Jon's position.
Lf is a brilliant villain. He is so much more complicated in the books and so behind almost everything. He is sooo waisted in the last season. D&D didn't know what to do with him anymore, so they make him being played by two stupid teenagers and die. Grrm would never allow this to happen.

As for Sansa, we all know, she is not a bright torch...In which planet could Arya and Sansa play Lf? It's stupid and bad writting because D&D wanted to get rid of him and were lazy enough to find a way that is suitable for the most clever scheming, treacherous, ambitious character of the show. They thought it was good enough to be played by the Stark kids...
I know many people like the Starks, and happily accepted this, but no, it's bad writting. In my country we say Lf would have those kids eaten with his breakfast

I agree with your assessment on LF, but feel you underestimate Arya, and I don't believe LF is better than Tywin, as Tywin called him out at one point "You say that as if youre the first person to think it." Roose Bolton also got the better of him as well. Also, Sansa has dealt with LF so much that she's picked up his patterns and thanks to Bran, knows the truth about Ned, Jon Aryyn, etc.
Not to mention, the knights of the Veil already seem to have a distaste for LF to begin with.

I think Theon is my favorite character for growth. Him and Sansa. They aren't likeable when you meet them, and they go through horrible things, but they learn from their tragedies and mistakes and become bad-@ss people!

I wish there was more emotion on Cerseis face when she sees the size of Drogon, her realisation she's not going to win, and she only lives because Danaerys allows her to. I feel like even the most smug, over confident king/queen would doubt their ability to win a war when a dragon the size of drogon lands in front of them.
Disappointed we got no reaction about Jon being the legimate heir to the Iron Throne and NOT being a bastard...about the biggest reveal in the series and you seemed to miss it since we got hardly any reaction to it. They never really point it out, and I can't remember if they make a point of it in the book. But the show has kind of made Theon seem like Hes way over confident and just keeps losing 1 on 1 fights. Like hes so bad he had to wait until he caught a break with the guy repeatedly trying to kick him in the balls, to get the upper hand and finally beat him.
But most people don't connect the fact that they keep talking about how Ned raised Theon. Rob Stark and Jon Snow are two of the best fighters in the entire show. Theon trained with the exact same guy that they did As ned was raising him. I bet Theon is a much better than average fighter. He's just been a beat dog for most of the show so we never get to see it.

I also wanna point out how Cersei herself killed all her kids & her father! 1st Joffery she raised him to be an entitled prick who could do whatever he wanted cause he was king. That got him killed by the Tyrells & LF.
She knew Oberyn wanted the mountain dead for his sister & her children. In fact they talked about it when she gave him the ship to send to Myrcella. Yet she picked the mountain as her champion. Causing Oberyn’s death leading to Myrcella’s.
She falsely accused Tyrion of Joffrey’s murder & had him arrested & tried leading to the trial by combat that killed both her father & daughter.
She blew up the sept to solve a problem she caused killing Margery & not comforting or explaining to her son making Tommen kill himself
She armed the high sparrow & the faith militant cause she hated Margaery & the Tyrells when they were her biggest allies. Which turned on her obviously! I don’t get how people love Cersei either she’s evil & short sighted & her plans ALWAYS backfire on her 🤦🏾♀️🤣

I had to rewind to watch it again LOL' Yeah, it was sure worth it to stick to watching more than season 1. I was where you were at at season one and then the Red Wedding, I was done. Also, and it's such a pet peeve of mine, but I hate scenes with villains that command their henchmen with a nod or a gesture.
Whether it was for example Joffrey having sir Dontos force fed wine, or in this episode during the Cersei private talks, it would have required a planning meeting beforehand where they explained to the henchmen what each little wordplay and nod and gesture was going to mean, as obviously, it would be the difference between actually giving someone wine, or having them walk by, versus going instantly to some kind of horrible torture or murder on the spot.

"Well, you did slightly smirk while nodding and saying "He's a welcomed guest, make sure they can eat whatever they want"."

I hope everyone understands why having the dragon take down the Wall is disastrous writing: it means, as you pointed out, that the Night King never had a way to get past the wall. Meaning the dead were never a threat except to the Free Folk. Which means everything Jon does is pointless. That is terrible writing. They had no idea why the dead should be able to get through, GRR Martin didn't tell them. So, this.

This is my main problem with seasons 7 and 8: Cersei is not a great player of the game, she has never been... She managed to almost destroy her entire house because of pettiness with the Tyrells and caught a lucky break with the wildfire already under King's Landing exactly when she needed it. But now, they are trying to convince us that she wised up and is smarter than everyone else, when in reality what's happening is that they're dumbing everyone else down. For example, Daenerys only takes one dragon to fight the Lannisters in episode 4, but here she brings both so that Cersei can perform basic math and realize she lost one 😂 That's not Cersei being clever, that's Daenerys and Tyrion being dumbasses. And the best one is yet to come - "Daenerys kind of forgot about the iron fleet" 🤮
just because she doesn't calculate her moves so far ahead doesn't mean she isn't great. Her unpredictability and craziness make her one of the best players just because everyone thinks no one would do those things that she does. She might not be player with highest iq or some shi but she basically survived until the end, only Daenerys was better player than her
@@assadarlingtoni Daenerys wasn't a better player than her, she had a nuclear bomb. Nobody was a good player of the game in the last seasons and the chatacters were all shells of their former selves, with the exception of Theon that actually had a good character arc.
