When us kids had a purpose to get up at 0' dark thirty on a Saturday morning to catch the best cartoons until 12 or 1. As soon as shows like "This Is It" or whatever news aired, that was our queue to gather up our toys and go outside to play with the other kids.
It was still funny when the fire hydrant growled/roared at the dog. {It's however still another insult to Lassie}. This ABC Saturday bumper had, however, still revamped my memory of when I first saw the GPK {Garbage Pail Kids} trading card stickers: that were going on strong. It reminded me of the GPK character name smelly Kelly. 💪 🌄 🌅
If I were Brandon Stoddard, former chairman of ABC, I would have the stars of many of the ABC shows (or the stars of the AMA’s) do the lead-ins to the commercial breaks. Imagine if folks like Mark-Linn Baker and Bronson Pinchot, Richard Dean Anderson, M.C. Hammer, John Stamos, Anita Baker, or Kris Kross ushered the young viewers to a commercial break?
Were these really made in 1989? I remember these and I born in 1991. Then again, I was on a military base in Germany during 1995 and the broadcast networks are a little different in each country. Don't ask how I remember that far back. It baffles me sometimes.
