- 🥳 Time for the second half of Thomas’ birthday week!
We left Camp Verde and drove down the road to stay in Cottonwood AZ.
🗺 Cottonwood is a great vacation spot, with all the typical shops and lots of winery tasting rooms. We loved riding our Aventon E-bikes around town (tinyurl.com/5m....
💦 Since Thomas’ only request for his birthday was water, we wandered down Parson’s Trail in the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness to find another secret water hole. We may or may not have found Summers Spring? But we enjoyed the cool water after the hot hike either way.
👻 You can’t visit this area without at least making a quick stop in Jerome. This old “ghost town” has a lot of character and has been featured on Ghost Adventures!

Would you go ghost hunting in Jerome, AZ?
We just returned from this trip!
That area is beautiful unfortunately the temps hit 119 degrees and we didn't know about that great watering hole! Jerome was awesome, and if you are into the mining history its worth going past the fire station there in town and checking out the King Mine area. The campgrounds directly above Jerome can get you out of the dry heat and into the tall pine trees.

@@ProjectRVLivingLost Im going to be doing some remote contract work in the motorsports industry down there so i was exploring around to decide if i could just bounce around in one of our vans doing the van life down by the river there or if im going to have to haul the rv down to one of the parks in the area ......

Go to Prescott Arizona.there are plenty of walking or hiking trails there.it’s beautiful my dad I used to live there.there is the downtown Prescott courthouse square .the hotel in Jerome used to be a hospital.my dad visited it when he was a young kid .he found a lot of old antiques

Thank you! We really enjoyed the area. We were there early May 2022. And if I’m not mistaken, it may have been a Monday. But we fit in our adventures when we can! We are back in AZ and hoping to give it a second go. :)
