Great idea! Off topic....We have a gulden retriever and while we're out working she comes up and drops toys at our feet too :D 'I see you're busy. But it's playtime now.'
There’s a guy on CZcams that shows one he made from iron and it’s on rollers.. Would love to have those plans so I could have one made and keep it in my building out of the weather..
- That’s actually kind of brilliant John. Are you living in an area with snow and wet spring? That’s the hiccup I could foresee in my area w that plan.
Excellent simple stand. Thanks Shane! I'll do the same.

I do that very same thing against a pine tree..
Good call. I don't have the clearance on any of my trees, so I thought I'd just drop a post.

I just drop the auger a foot to 18" in the ground and call it a day- been working that way for years

no rust issues?
Only problem, and I deal with this as well, is that your PTO shaft is sitting in dirt and has to be cleaned before use.
We take our PTO shaft and store it in the dry
Too simple please make harder
Hahahahaha…… should I have gone with concrete mix, rebar, and reclaimed barn beam?
@@shanef6957 Might need some I beams, channel a done and welder too but sounds like your going in the right direction now! Lol
