    The 25mm spacers fit both ends fine. Look at the back of your wheels; there's a cavity.

      Nope, not on my wheels there isn’t, already checked that!

      @fun2drive strange, my OEM ones have a cavity. The 25mm spacers fit perfectly on both ends.

    Great video, nice to see these jobs done without all of the workshop lift equipment, they make it look so easy, but the average bloke uses the same gear you have. Good job. I have been looking at this for mine , but worried about all the speed bumps where I live. Have you seen any issues with speed bumps? I'll have to send you a list of the mods that I would like to do any advice on which to do first would be appreciated. Bear in mind I'm still waiting for a delivery date for mine. I will get the initial upgrades done by Mountune so I can keep my warranty.

      Hi mark, thanks for watching, if you look at my channel at the mods I did, they are probably in a good order of attack, I started with some simple cosmetic ones and built up to the more involved mods. I have speed bumps near me and I still don’t touch them after the lowering springs install.

      @@philscars Thank you I enjoy watching the videos, I will definitely go for the lowering springs, the car seems to sit much nicer in the wheel arches.

    Great video , looking at these springs on ford website £185 sounds like a bargain from Ford

    Hope to see you doing spings on the S5 soon? Assume you have adaptive suspension so will do springs rather than coilovers. How is the ride in the Mustang compared to stock, over bumpy roads?

    • @philscars
      @philscars  Před 2 lety

      I'm investigating that at the moment! Ride feels just about the same in the mustang, no noticeable difference...

    Say goodbye to thw warranty and finance agreement

    • @philscars
      @philscars  Před 2 lety

      These are ford performance springs, recommended by ford for the magneride cars, worse case is suspension warranty could be affected….car isn’t on finance…

    will standard shock absorbers fail if the springs become lower?

    • @philscars
      @philscars  Před rokem +1

      They shouldn't do as these are the Ford recommended lowering springs I have fitted!
