This is making me realize how much Mean Girls' The Plastics borrowed from the Fashion Club. Down to Regina gaining weight and having to leave for breaking club rules.

Sandi makes me laugh every time she’s on screen
I relate to Stacy so much, except that I was never popular or invited to parties lol. Not really now either. So I guess personality similar to Stacy but social life similar to Daria

I love Daria! It's so underated too!
One of my favorite Fashion Club moments is when they all get a caricature done and Sandi, Quinn and Tiffany become horrified by it and by the end of the episode it's shown that Stacy kept it in her closet because it captured all of their peraonalities, so Sandi and Quinn are angrily struggling to ride the same bike, Tiffany looks completely unfocused and dumb and Stacy looks sweet and adorable.
I think it's more that Stacy liked how she herself looked in it.
There's even a little foreshadowing of it in the beginning of the episode: When the caricature artist shows them the finished product, Quinn, Sandi, and Tiffany look horrified at it, but if you look closely, Stacy has a little "Ooh, I look good" smile as she looks at it.
Of all the fashion club members, here’s where I rank each of them, based on character development throughout the series:

I see character analysis and boom, I am there.
I have mixed feelings about them: as someone who was awkward and chubby in high school I would be their target. I didn't have Daria's range. Now as a grown person who owns her extra weight and curves and if they be snide to me, I would sincerely say "You are pretty too"
I did have a crush on Helen; also how did the kids pass their classes and get to college with such avoidance of being seen as a "brain"

I LOVE that you analyze their fashion & their personal growth! Really cool observations! Having said that - LOL - I always thought that these girls were so awful... This show was written so beautifully... DARIA was fantastic.

Can I offer you some advice - in future videos you may want to get a better microphone or turn down the BGM because I found your content quite hard to hear so I turned up my volume to hear you and you did make some great analysis, but when you splice in a clip with sound from the show it made me jump.
Thank you so much for the advice! I used the voice over thingy from iMovie so I had a hard time adjusting my voice. And oh no I’m so sorry about the clips😭. I’ll be careful next time.💓💓

Quinn had the best style overall followed by Stacey the Sandi. I always found Tiffany to be basic. I think their style resembles their personalities very well. Sandi had a sophisticated yet simple style. She carries her self in a very sophisticated manner and she’s pretty but not in a striking way. This I why she hated Quinn because Quinn had more edge to her which is why she got more attention. Stacey’s style was cute and fun.

I never understood the Fashion Club.
Sandi is hostile/jealous towards Quinn and both know it
Quinn seems to be the most normal of these 4 shallow, mindless girls.
Stacy is a follower and has a very strange obsession with Quinn.
Tiffany seems to be the prime example of the cliche - all looks, braindead with seldom glimps of the fact that the hamster goes back on his wheel.
But as a parody of those popular teenager issues it works perfect.
Does it bug anybody else that Sandi has the precise same accent as the Comic Book Guy from Simpsons, whose accent is based on Ralph Bakshi's idiolect?
Sandi is voiced by the same actress who voiced Brittany on the show, and she gives the two voices the same speech patterns; The only difference is that she obviously pitches her voice much lower for when she's voicing Sandi.

The fashion club always wore the same thing all the time . How is that following any trends ?
One of the worst parts of our culture. Entirely a product of damage in society. We're born into it, but then, we celebrate it. Despite the fake competition it creates, and the lack of progress the effort creates. While men are building shuttles to Mars, and control Silicon Valley, playing with video games and machines, we gut each other with fashion... worst yet, none of these girls end up staying friends when it's said and done, unlike Daria and Jane/Trent. :/
