After having listened to Mr. Coriddi's playing of Gigout's GRAND CHOEUR DIALOGUE I ventured into CZcams to see what other recordings he might have shared. It's during this search that I've come upon some of the saddest news I've heard in respect to the world of organ music. When one says that he was "self taught" I find this so unbelievable for his playing is finer than many who have studied with the greatest. His clarity of all the voices in each piece, his sense of style for each composer, etc., etc. etc. is truly mind boggling. And on top of it all, I've yet to come upon a video where he plays with sheet music. He was a gift of God to the world of music. This must be how the world felt when Mendelsshon, Mozart and all the other greats who died so very young. My heart is tremendously saddened in knowing that the wonderful recordings that we now have are all we shall ever get to hear, but may I say from the bottom of my heart how thankful I am to be able to hear such wondrous sounds coming from the hands and heart of such a great pillar in this world of the pipe organ. May you rest in eternal peace, Maitre Timothy Coriddi.

This is a sad but beautiful slice of life. I firmly believe that some people are very gifted and a pleasure to listen to. I, at times, have had a sense of more than just playing correctly and beautifully. Occasionally there is something more. The something more presents itself in ,often, quiet and ethereal ways. It is hard to describe but when it happens it happens. You know it when it does. Something's in life cannot be totally explained and they don't have to. Enjoy these moments and don't try to explain what you really can't. Accept it for what it is. Bruce

Timothy was a true master of the organ. He was a great inspiration to me, especially when I found out that he was a self-taught organist. The words of "If thou but suffer God to guide thee", visible towards the end of this video, are very appropriate at this time.

Dear community, dear familymembers of Timothy,
i did not know the channel GrandeBombarde16 until now. Me, as i am an organist, can say that his passion for organ music is clearly visible (espacially for french literature) and it will go on forever. The tragic history of Timothy gives me shivers so it is hard to find words even in a foreign language for an incident like this. But i want you all to know that the community of youtube organists condolences. May he rest in peace.
    Greetings from Germany

My worst fear is something like this happening to me. I keep thinking that it won’t happen to me and that it can’t happen, but I’ve come to terms that it could. Enjoy every single good time you have and always try to make amends and always tell loved ones that you love them. Because tomarrow could be too late to do so.

Wow, so totally shocked that he has passed away and over five year ago. Always watched him play "Grand Choeur Dialogue" every time the video popped up on CZcams. So sad.

I wanted to share a piece of organ music (JSB) with a friend who knows nothing of the organ......I chose to share your playing if the Trio Sonata. This played immediately after so I stopped by to say Tim, you are still very much remembered. God bless.

I have only just learned of Tim's passing and am absolutely shocked and saddened at the terrible news. Tim was a good friend to me and helped me so much with my organ playing with our many personal contacts over the last two and half years. All of his hard work enabled him to showcase his wonderful talents at the organ. He was truly a good and nice person and will be missed by many. I will miss him for sure. My sympathies and thoughts go to his family and friends at this tragic time. RIP TIM!

I discovered Tim through this channel on youtube. We became friends through facebook as well as here. He was a phenomenal organist and a good friend. I am shocked and saddened to find that he has passed on but, like the rest of us, I know he fills God's heavenly halls with beautiful music. May God's peace, comfort, love, and light be with his family.
    Rest in Heavenly Peace, Tim.

I just learned of Tim's passing today, one year after. He was an amazing performer, driven to playing at a high level, and associated with the top tier organ builder, Marshall & Ogletree. Tim was one of the first organists I followed here on CZcams. We will all miss him. A fitting tribute will be his performance of "Now Thank We All Our God," from Cantata No. 79, by J.S. Bach (Arr. Virgil Fox) - recorded on his newly created Hauptwerk virtual pipe organ czcams.com/video/LOMfLEjlfb0/video.html R.I.P. Tim.

Can only imagine how brilliant his playing would have been had he lived.
I think we,as human beings, have options on how we live and interact with our fellows. This young man, although, no longer of this earth, will continue to give joy to those who love the organ and those who play it well.
