Hello from North Africa 🏴☠️
Woaw. Such a beautiful and exhaustive summary. This was a great recap which deserves a million likes. Go SpaceX and Go Tesla Space!!
In this difficult and upsetting world in which we live - SpaceX fills my heart with joy.

Why is that specifically?
@@leonardgibney2997 True cheap access to space and then a universe of possibilities. Humanity on Mars and the Moon. I guess expanded horizons for the species.
But that is like religion, a pie-in-the-sky dream.
@@leonardgibney2997 Well people used to ride horses to work. People used to die of easily curable disease. Once we could not fly, now we can. I don't see it as pie-in-the-sky - just steady incremental progress. We've been to the moon, now we'll go back and stay there - same, with luck, for Mars.
Awesome video. Love the telling of the story, and the inspirational tone. Great job!
The fact that they cleared the pad with Starship is imo extremely undeplayed achievement. great vid
Settling the bar a bit low isn't it? Imagine everyone at NASA circle jerking over that feat. Or if it exploded well short of the goal.
I just realized that they are estimating helium 3 to be worth 16 billion per ton. And it is everywhere on the moon. 65 million for a reusable rocket that can carry 150 tons...
@adrianbarreto4225 it doesn't really have a value yet as there is nothing to use it with. The theory is that you can use it for Nuclear Fusion, however that technology is just a pipe dream.
Also, 65 million per launch is another pipe dream. Just like how they expect 7 million per launch with Falcon (which is still approx 55 mil).
You can't use 65 mil in calculations when they reality is 4-5 times that.
I'm pretty sure 150 tones of helium 3 isn't going to fit. Gases require much bigger volume for storage. It's not like 1 tonne of any element fits in the same size container.
Lastly and most importantly, there is no proof there is mass qualities of it on the moon. All theories about that have been debunked.
Great video guys 👍. Turtle and the rabbit, but this time the rabbit has no intention to stop for a nap. The sheer excitement that SpaceX has brought to the industry is incredible. Elon and his crew are to me American heroes.😀
More Old men vs Young Men …. NASA never done it that way, it’s not safe to innovate quickly…. Vs We need to get this done in Elons LIFETIME … and we won’t be wasteful because we are funding it, work smarter …
I can't believe how many non-sense comments...
This video is so great! Same as the inspirational story behind it!
Please continue making move videos like these!!
Can't wait to see how all of this will play out in the upcoming years!!!
If you dont like the videos then dont watch them. If you dont like the comments then dont read them. Simple.
Right? Where else can you get such direct and clear communication on cooking?
Thanks so much for this overview. Love the new style.

How many lives he save, compared to ER surgeon? I’ll take an ER Surgeon ahead of Musk ANY DAY!!
@@TheTruthSeeker756 Very opinionated for somebody who likely mops floors for a living.

@@TheTruthSeeker756turns out you are pretty lame.
@@TheTruthSeeker756 ER surgeon works today and everyday saving lives everyday one by one, ELON works today and everyday to save future lives, his end goal may actually save more lives than the ER Surgeon when humanity is in Extinction event. more and more the chances of a nuclear war is higher as time goes.
You did a very good job summarizing everything. Also i like your graphics better than other sites.

Your vids are the only exciting Tesla vids I look forward to watching, I have seen all your other vids and just can't wait to watch more to learn more about Elon's World changing business Adventures. I live across the river from the launch site in Florida, get to see the launches from my porch 😊
I like the background music in this presentation. Great work as usual.
Thanks for the video. Great job!
Also, stainless steel they use grows *stronger* at cryo temperatures.
Do some content on where they plan on landing the ship, (After the OTF). We all know the chopsticks are for the booster, then the ship shortly after. But after the splash off the coast of Hawaii.
Also, the variant in difference with the R3? How much smaller can they go?
Thanks again for the great content.

All countries should join forces in space exploration.
Actually built in Carbon Fibre& dipped in Colloidal Silicate and Charmotte;used in the correct recipe, which would properly protect both the Rocket,as well as the Astronaut’s or other folks aboard;should it loose any of its protective tiling. Plus it’s easier to apply the “heat -Shield” to Carbon Fibre,as well as a surface material the same as the heat-shield tiles, ensures an optimal safety. Also this can either be Mould-constructed or 3D-produced. This would enable SpaceX to turn out rocket upon rocket, using the same mould, and coating it all, either via Spaying;or preferably tank dipping each moulded ship. The recipe of Colloidal Silicate/Charmotte continue ally turned so as to prevent the -0.27 micron flower particles from settling in the Colloidal Silicate. To solve this issue a 3/4-tank with seal close top could be built and each ship slid into the tank. The tank is sealed and rotated to ensure that the mixture seeps properly into the Carbon-Fibre Weave, where it will form attachment to both the weave;as well as incorporated raised old-door-lock shaped nodes to lock the liquid in place. [Ideally and to ensure an absolutely safe and strong surface.A 3-micron wax dip could,(and should) be done prior to the Charmotte/Silicate dip. WHY:To ensure the best and strongest outcome and bond. A flash-dewaxing of this surface-dip should be done.(It begins the Ceramic Shells hardening process.) And ensuring a more durable and stronger surface for the final few coats of these varied Micron Charmotte mixes, prior to heat shield application. ] Should several heat shields then come adrift, the surface of 14:22 the ship is utterly properly protected from heat&remains both safe and protected against hi temperatures. So too do the contents. (The most important factor.) It’s a second Option for SpaceX and although Carbon Fibre is more expensive,(&Im sure Elon could find something as good, but cheaper, to which this mixture properly adheres. It’s outcomes are safety both here and on moon and Mars landing s. Fixes can be performed should Dire circumstances (of say Distance from home base, call for them. But would require a means to reach said area and “carry on aboard fixture-materials.(To me a logic on a trip “Far far from home!!)! Everything and every prospect should be covered. One can never have to much survival material s. Anyway it’s a thought from someone who wrote a Dissertation on the recipe and materials used in the mixture above. Biological,Scientific and mathematical calculations were followed from the raw material mined material through the making of the material;through to its packaging. The same applied to the recipe and I found an anomaly in the Viscosimeter theorem. It turned out to be as a result of the fact when it was written. The means of identifying microns was way outdated. A test aboard The International Space Station in Zero gravity proved that my thought had been correct and that the Viscosimeter didn’t take into consideration that the microns(their finest particles),settled prior to them running through the Viscosimeter needle, where the reading is taken for those few seconds. The slurry was in fact settling creating inaccurate Viscosimeter readings. In a bronze casting situation at 1250’Celsius it had the potential for disaster. Molten hot bronze is not fun when it hits cement and is affected by the liquid retained in the cement. It has a tendency to explode as I’m sure all who watched the rockets launch came to appreciate. Give it some thought Elon.
@@ElonMusk-bw4yn Not that where I’m responding from should make a difference. Since knowledge is knowledge. It’s attained by those who go in search thereof, because they have a desire to attain that knowledge and enrich their minds,in contributing to the journey on which they have sent their minds. Questions arise and Answers need finding. Some do intense research and search to resolve the answer from every angle. Be it mathematical, scientific, biological, sculptural and all and every other plane that contributes to the understanding thereof from an entire 360’ infinitum point of view. To resolve the problem entirely and with thorough researched knowledge. Testing and understanding entirely the solution. But since you ask. Port Elizabeth,South Africa. Ironically the same country where Elon Musk was born. I hope that that resolves your question. But hope that the information was understood way before you asked the latter question. Otherwise my expression is really lousy.

Make them linkable and rotatable to create centrifugal force for the journey to Mars.
Everything of the rocket is useful except the pointy tip…which is just a tribute to a movie 😂
People have had the vision to go to space for as long as I remember. But if we have to wait on the Government to do it. We will never get there.
So glad Elon figured that out.
BFR. I still get a kick out of the way Gwynne Shotwell said it during an interview. The way she said it was so funny and cool. BIG Falcon Rocket.
I think he should start small with a colony on the moon.
Mars, location of initial habitation ? Needs to be well thought out regarding the many possible contingency events that may occur !
For if the Sun ever Novas, or if the solar system receives a gamma ray burst or solar flare ?
How would it affect survivability on Mars ?
Just a thought Scientist have probably already considered within the master plan ?

Haven't heard such bombastic language about future of an unproven technology and its aims. First send a shelter that is radiation proof, self building and placed near or inside caves to protect future inhabitants on the best areas with habitable area of Mars with reasonable climate and discover plenty of water that can be used.

Well done SpaceX. And Elon miracle. ❤
It's not true that the name was clarified to mean "Big Falcon Rocket". That name actually makes no sense. There is no relationship to the Falcon rocket in any way. Completely different design, size, building material, engine, fuel, etc. Everything about the rocket is different. The Falcon Heavy actually makes sense because you can basically think of it as 3 Falcon rockets tied together even though it's way more complicated than that. The name has always been Big Fucking Rocket from the very beginning. The name actually came from the game Doom and it's Big Fucking Gun. The problem is that Gwynne Shotwell was asked about the name, and she didn't want to say the real name, so she totally made the name up. And then every journalist and whoever wrote that stupid Wikipedia entry for Starship, all decided to go with that made-up name because the real name is supposedly offensive and everyone is scared to say it or print it.
And it's not just a Doom reference.
The Falcon series takes a lot of design inspiration from Armadillo Aerospace, a rocket company started by John Carmack. John fundamentally change the way rocket software was programmed, seating where the Delta flyer not only failed but hit a design brick wall.
It's a bit of a rabbit hole of a reference.
The F in BFR is mis-interperteed by prude's/woke fanatic's as been rude by people with mental problem's
Thanks elon for giving makind hope

Compared to the cost of Twitter, spaceships seem pretty reasonable
As the Titan submersible disaster shows, carbon fiber is no more a "do-it-all" material than any other.
During early design phase, in determining strength, simple tests under varing shapes should have eliminated carbon fiber from both designs.
When breaking under pressure, carbon fiber splinters in an explosion of shards towards the low pressure, then back.
So if they put in a second stage which is a throwaway they could get to orbit and not have to do refueling? given how fast they can produce rocket bodies .. that kinda makes sense?
Yep. It's a luxury ride. When it's outfitted better.
Mach 7 isnt an escape velocity
Hopefully they send, seeds of very resilient plants, and fungi. Especially fungi, its a must have or nothing will live. Of course if nasa had anything to say about this, they wouldn't seed Mars. I say lets do it!! Lets terraform Mars!!🤘

I’m sure these programs by Elon’s companies have rescued so many of America’s and the world’s talented youth and older from the fall of America under their current tyranny and inspired them that there is a better future …
EXCELENT analysis of how we got here! Thank you for that.
Elon is a visionary on a scale we haven't really seen for a LONG time. Gates & Bozos are visionaries in their own right, but Elon goes well past them, in rocketry, Starlink, solar systems, Nurelink, Tesla, Boring, & so many other technologies. We, as a society, are very lucky to have him. (Full disclosure, I don't agree with his political views at all, & I wish he'd keep his friggin' mouth shut in public, but that's another story.)
I'm a bit concerned that Musk is SO focused on Mars. I agree that we need to go to Mars, but I also think that we'll learn a LOT on the Moon about how to design, build, & support an off-world colony. I'd feel more comfortable if he wasn't quite so driven on Mars, but he's more of a visionary than I am. So I'll have to wish him all the best. And yes, I'm buying a Starlink, which will help fund his space endeavors.
Anyway, wanted to thank you for both these Tesla Space videos, as well as your Space Race videos. Very informative, & a joy for those of us outside the US who can't get this information easily. Very well done!
Believe it's stainless steel. Should ride smoother. For passengers enjoyment.
Plans are like the seed of a tree, it may sprout, the young tree may die, or perhaps the seed will grow to be a big tree.
Plans are very entertaining though.
Its just to get into orbit, survive until the pole shifts settle, then land back on earth.
This technology of how to control a free falling aircraft and land it safely. This would be awesome in commercial airline airplanes. Why not have a way to control a free falling craft, especially one with passengers aboard.
Hell yeah go Elon!
your volume goes up and down every few seconds.
The Aliens order a take out and Elon Musk sends the food😂
Next the starship2.0 is 18x240 meter cargo 3,000 metricton.
Please strap Musk to the top of the nest Starship test in a Texas protected area.
Imo if elon is serious about colony on mars he needs to assemble the ship outside our own atmosphere.
