- In this video Nick goes over the everything you need to ride “Seat Out”. We will be looking at riding with your seat out the front and the basics you need to start practicing this trick. Remember all Unicycle tricks require a lot of practice and persistence.

One important tip that really helped me was to hold the seat with only one hand. You may think you get more control by holding the seat with both hands, but it's more important (at least at the start) to use one hand for balance.
Absolutely, you need your hand and shoulders to "whip around" for balance. Just like when learning idling. Two hands down = less mobility = getting jammed up. Only after you advance can you anticipate which way the saddle wants to lean or twist. In fact, the seat should be "butt up" against your stomach in the beginning.

I would like to see that, but he's not the best teacher. Let's see a real beginner and Nick teach the beginner. Why do I never see this? Only show off videos. Let's see "real" videos.

Nick wont be in Grenoble, Roger will be there though... but not in the freestyle gym, he is past that (although he has performed freestyle at UNICON in the past).
We have done videos using actual beginners (checkout our learner videos on our channel), but these videos are there to show you how and they highlight the key points when learning. It would be nice to show the appreciation of the beginners when Nick does teach (he is an experienced teacher) but for these videos it is just not practical or effective at getting the point over.
