God, I love this woman. I just quit my job today. And I felt what she's talking about
nice, hope it worked out :)
Can't believe no one has come here to post this, so I will: Radiohead pulled some key quotes from this interview to introduce "Burn the Witch" on their 2016 world tour. And I'm glad they did!
Well done! I love it :-) That's here : czcams.com/video/smvMUqe2m-w/video.html
brendonla i saw it on loolapalooza n I'm like woah, Radiohead bring Nina Simone freedoms interview
I just caught this. When it started I thought I was imagining it or hearing something else, and I had to look it up to make certain that it is Nina.
I discovered this interview from "Free Freedom No Fear" by Sonnyjim, there are some key quotes too at the beginning of the song. If someone who's reading this likes hip-hop, definitely go check this guy out! I think he's very underrated.
@@teoz3470 thankss!!! I was just wondering if this interview was sampled, cause it's perfect for a rap song.
She is correct. This entire society is engineered to elicit fear in as many billions as possible. Those who lay down the framework where society produces fear and anxiety in people, are not consciously "in on it," yet they carry out "its" wishes nonetheless. It's 2021. About 80% of what causes day to day fear, anxiety, and worry could have been eliminated by now. Because it only has increased, this should tell you something. It tells you something lives off the frequency of fear.
451 Days by Loathe brought me here. I can't describe how this powerful small speech from her makes me feel. Love it. Love, love love.
FKJ and Loathe!
Me too
Nina gave a truth drop. "No Fear".
When she said she felt freedom...it made me ask myself do i even know freedom or have i ever even felt it, I don’t think i ever have😪
Loathe brought me here. Absolutely unbelievably iconic. What a monologue.
“It is something … to really feel” 💕🥺
I Love you Ms. Nina Simone 🤲🏾🌹
FKJ and Radiohead both brought me here, awesome artists with such unique styles
How can someone "dislike" Nina's words or how can someone dislike Nina Simone? It has to be the most insensitive kind of people in the entire world. She's a goddess of music!
God, I wish I had no fear.
“451 Days” by Loathe brought me

It’s odd hearing her speech without the soundscapes of 451 days
Hey speech with the ambient synths really do elevate the meaning and power behind her words. Whoever decided to include this sample is a genius

Hey, do you know who owns the rights to this video/interview??
Thank you for the question. I did some research and add in description :
- From "Nina: "A Historical Perspective", a documentary produced by Peter Rodis in 1970.
- Full documentary here (untill it disappear): www.dailymotion.com/video/x14hgds
- Available on the DVD "To Be Free: The Nina Simone Story"
But about owner of the rights, I have only one information about request of rights I got for the use of this video : SME. Google found me this about SME : www.paarc.org/sme-copyright-updated-2021-what-is-sme-copyright-on-youtube/. And under the video is written Licensed to CZcams by PEDL (Pan-European Digital Licensing (copyrighting)) with 3 Music Rights Management Companies. Nothing else.
