Yup. Some players today like Lavine and Gordon can perform more difficult dunks than VC could but none of them look anywhere near as good doing them. The ferocity and athleticism of VC dunking is unmatched. When he dunks you feel it in your bones.
Stop living in the nostalgia and the past. They felt good because you were younger and have never seen anything like it before. Now anyone can dunk as well as VC could
Blake had an underappreciated prime. It ended fairly abruptly his by second season in Detroit. But at the tail end of the big men era he was a problem.
@@terrancevanliew1814 Exactly I would say that during 2010-2018 they were only 1-3 real star big man, now Embiid, Jokic, Giannis, AD are all top 10 when healthy. Gobert, Draymond, Bam, Timelord are defensive stars big man with DPOYs or DPOYs potential. KAT, Vucevic, Siakam, Sabonis are 2 times All stars players or almost All stars the other years . ANd you have young bigs like Mobley, Allen, JJJ, Isaac, Collins, Ayton, Woods coming up.
As a retired sports journalist, I’d like to share a couple of thoughts with you. My guess, based on sheer probability, is you’re a young man. I apologize, if that’s incorrect. But you’re an incredibly creative young man. The way you think about the, always debated, “Who’s the GOAT” and “Who’s Top 5” of any sport. I can see the creativity in your expression “increasingly”, that draws at the “SportsCenter Top 10” brain part of the brain, that wants to see which one was best. What’s exponentially more creative is your “categories” (more insane, more dramatic, etc…). Your love of athletic competition will serve you well, as athletic competition has been around since the beginning of recorded history. I’m certain I wasn’t the only one suggesting it, but I noticed quite a few more 90’s plays, in the past couple of videos. Thank You for that. Us “Old Heads” just like to point out that we had some pretty dang good ball, back in the day, and you listened to the people who really enjoy what you do. And better yet, you’ve found a way to fuse the aspects and come up with (to borrow your phrasing) increasingly more ways. You also have a talent for video editing. You produce a product that is 1) Incredibly entertaining, 2) Influenced by the very community that supports it, and 3) Is something that, with your creative brain, you could do for years and years and YEARS! Incredible video. No matter what happens, just know that you’ve got, at least 1 huge fan, who’s always looking for your latest flick. And that’s always reason enough, to keep going. Best wishes, and keep those great videos coming.
@@mobya80 Right?! Exactly. He’s got a million dollar idea that never needs to be overhauled to stay updated, because as players come and go, new ones will provide more highlights. He can literally do this for as long as he wants. Today’s a good day, to get him a bit of a signal boost. I’m going to see if a few of my favorite streamers, with a love for basketball and sizable audiences, want to watch a couple of his videos on stream.
Kyrie’s spin lay on my C’s was the moment I became a Kyrie fan. I was so pissed we lost and remember saying “he did the same damn spin move for game the game before!!” But been rocking him since ✊🏽
MJ did rock the craddle in his rookie year...i think vs the bucks and the knicks...i believe i have not seen any player does rock the cradle in a game as often as MJ which is a superb highlight
To this day I regret no going to that Clippers game against the Knicks where Blake had those two dunks. We had the tickets all lined up, but decided to chill at a hotel in stead. Big mistake!!!
@@locomixer Meaning you might get beat but the extra length helps to get back in the play. Jordan was well and truly cooked, but he's so athletic and so much longer than Iverson he still got a hand in there

Vince Carter’s dunk shows us all that he is/was so many leagues ahead of all players when it comes to dunking. The intensity and style is unmatched.

@@davisgeorge7926 It's pretty unanimous opinion that VC is the greatest dunker of all-time. Not sure why you're salty about it.

3:50 lmao, the zoom on Stephon Marbury's face is priceless
That is actually so memeable
Its the stank face the only way you can react to seeing that
Shaq after the backboard looks at him the wrong way: "And I took that personally."
That look on Gary Payton's face at 3:35 is priceless; anger/embarrassment/respect all rolled into one.
His jaw was on the floor when he got crossed over
Blake had an underappreciated prime. It ended fairly abruptly his by second season in Detroit. But at the tail end of the big men era he was a problem.

@@Youngprophet987 he was a DPOY candidate when healthy last season...what are you talking about?
An overrated prime, just like a huge percentage of the league.
Giannis took 4 steps past half court to get the chase down block in the first clip
No doubt that AI crossover on MJ was going to be in no1
By reputation, but Jordan stayed with Iverson and nearly blocked the shot.

@@NostraThomas25 That's a generous deed sir. You're a good man.
Dame's been clutch since day one. 😤
Gary Payton's reaction was respect.
Super cool! Giannis was already so good as a rookie…
no he wasn’t lmaoooo he was avg like 6
If he was already so good as a rookie then you wouldn't need to say that he was already so good as a rookie.
He was "determined".... that's the best way to sum up his rookie yr....
Real ones knew that he was gonna be a star I used to always trade for him in 2k
He been traveling since a rookie 😭😂 ginanis still hard tho
Man Iverson was such a joy to watch, he really went all out in every game. Maybe not in practice though.

That Morant dunk is still insane. Both his shoes were sliding just before the dunk and he still managed to get that much power in his jump
I remember sitting in my room watching both of those "Shaq Attacks" . That man was unreal.
Do a video called Shaquille O’Neal’s plays but they get increasingly more insane
That Josh smith dunk was brutal
That smile on Gary Payton's face...
welcoming Jason Williams to the NBA.
This was a good f'n video.
That Embiid block on zeller was so insane, the athleticism required to complete that without fouling
KP had a putback every night before he got injured I swear. He was goated
Factsssssssss
God i love your channel so much 🙏🏻
I love these vids
Shaq tearing down multiple goals during his rookie season is ridiculous. But ending it with AI in his shoes and in his bag is impressive.
Nice highlight video.👍🏿
Dat Vince Carter dunk is ice
Lebron did about 12 steps before bouncing that ball
😭 LoL 😂 he always traveling frequent flyer miles
Kyrie’s spin lay on my C’s was the moment I became a Kyrie fan. I was so pissed we lost and remember saying “he did the same damn spin move for game the game before!!” But been rocking him since ✊🏽
That Josh Smith dunk had me wincing in pain😣.
3:23 YEAH THAT WAS NASTY MOVE
Great video
2:47 THAT WAS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Anthony Edwards dunk looked like a video game when it came on
That was the filthiest dunk
I forgot the sheer amount of property damage Shaq caused in his career. Probably all the rage from those missed freethrows.
And ones but they increasingly get more wild
The thumbnail 😂
Amare's rookie season was one of the most memorable for me because as a rookie he was posterizing the league.
I’m convinced Dame Lilliard be practicing that shot 😂
Gray Payton face lol “so you do like Krabby patties “🤣🤣
I can’t be the only one who taught the transition was to a 2kgame highlights 😂 5:27

Some people are just gifted
0:20 Labron has been traveling since day one.
at 0:20 i learned that lebron could already take field trips as a rookie
fundamentally poor
Man seeing some guys rookie plays kinda makes you feel a little old and I’m only in my late 20s lol. Time flys
Very nice
that Vince Carter dunk was ridiculous lol
2:10 tim dunacan just did the tim duncan version of the dunk that pro dunker did at the all star game timeout a few years ago
3:50 that steph marbury face never fails to kill me
"how old is he? 12?" 😭😭😭
Nothing more impressive than pulling down two backboards
Tony Parker plays vs GP in 2002 deserve a mention
2:31 at that moment dude in the paint knew he mess up
5:18, I was just okay with everything before this, then came the first stank face.
Phil: Micheal get on him
Mike: ok
AI: 😬😬
The one I was missing in this video was Gasol's rookie dunk on KG. However, given the level, only towards the beginning. Sheeeesh
3:08 literally on your head
The AI Crossover on MJ will be reviewed 100 years from now. It was like beating God for one play.
Dipo's block was underrated
Plays from fringe players that become increasingly more ridiculous is honestly one I would love to see...
willie burton with 50 has to be pretty high up
Steve Nash made that suns team a championship contender
Vince did that and he just run back like he just scored a lay up
Tim Duncan has looked the same from 19 to 40
6:17 ROOKIE D WADE
morris' and tatum's taunt paid the price
They say the nuggets commentator is still screaming “oh” to this day
iverson crossing jordan is so fireeeeee

AI Had Dat Boy On Skates 😂 😂
4:13 he literally did a double jump
Derrick rose as a rookie was incredible sad injury plagued his athleticism
Dude was Deku of the NBA. His body couldn’t handle its power.

The last one wasn't as savage as the others but man imagine the history he's gonna tell to his kids. He just score on MICHAEL JORDAN
The dude in the back at 6:57 😂😂
For the sake of symmetry, maybe "Welcome to the NBA" plays but they get increasingly brutal?
I was waiting for Wade's play!! But also, OH ME OH MY Blake Griffin!
"HOW DID HE DO IT!?!?!? HOW! DID! HE! DO! IT!?!!?!?"
That Vince Carter reverse is just so disgusting.
So basically, Giannis is doing coast to coast plays since his rookie days huh
Shaq came in like a wrecking ball to the NBA
2:32 😲
The biggest thing I learned is that Gobert had been in the league as long as Wiggins
Lenron James travelled on that play. Took 2.5 steps before he dribbled once..
LeBron literally travelled the moment he got the ball. 😅
So did Steph Curry on his layup
Bron travelling still travelling after all these years
Gary Payton Smiling at Williams😀😄 Gary Recognizing that Williams is Bad To The Bone 😄👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Michael Jordan got Clowned🤣😂🤣😂🤣
