But I gotta say that we should look at it from a different perspective. Let's be real that would have never worked out in real life. We all watched this series and should actually know it better than Kevin. Maybe people just wish to have friends or such a group of friendship, but we have to realize that life is not like a sitcom.
Of course. A relationship as weird as Ted/Robin/Barney would only last a couple of weeks in real life. The worst thing is that the series acknowledges that there is a potential problem there in one episode but never develops it.

I mean seriously robin, ted and Barney in the group after season 3 wouldn't remain friends irl at least not 2 of them. Somehow i live with a similar group, and i'm the only one who doesn't share that way. They all love to talk about their very-intimate life, too much. I'm not shaming sex, it's a nice thing, but there is still the part where none of us asked about it. I didn't want to know, when we were all cramped in a car for 30 minutes travelling, what the oldest friend newly tried with someone we don't even know. I hated it and that friend didn't want to stop describing it. Because I'm afraid of hurting people's feelings, i shut my mouth, but inside, i was like this: "I don't find you attractive enough to think about you naked, so if you could just shut-up about your sweaty body doing i don't want to know what ! Nobody asked nobody would have, nobody will, just shut-up !" On a related note, i really don't understand how describing the sex we had is a social thing when we didn't actually ask the partner if we could talk about their bodies and what we did together. I'm maybe stretching it, but to me, it's part of the intimacy to keep that to yourself, especially when it means being vulnerable together. There is consent involved, about talking or keeping in what transpired.

They are 5 very close friends with enough trust between them to be able to text each other while pooping. They aren't uncomfortable with that. Kevin is. It's his problem, not theirs.
