I like how Humblke Kevin is and great words. but people like Keenan Ivory, Martin should be getting honored before him, show some respect because those really did do something to break dooors open and give opportunities. Eddie ofcourse is the GOAT, he is the template, he broke all the doors. Kennedy Cenetr to also honor Kevin with the Mark Twaisn which is ridiculous, its not his time yet. he is a good guy and he is all over the place , thats just opportunities for him, these are not groud breaking things he is doing
those are legends you spoke about and you're right, but Kevin Hart is a legend too and whether YOU like him or not, Kevin has sold more arenas and done a lot for comedy including opening doors just as much as those guys if not more. whether you like it or not, Kevin Hart keeps filling out arenas WORLDWIDE because whilst you sit there frustrated that "why is this unfunny guy popular?", there are millions more out there who LOVE his comedy online, in movies and at shows so...

He's s not hating he just saying something is out of pocket and out of order; happens all the time especially in music. Society tends to honor what is POPULAR (selling out areanas) over true substance. Selling out arenas is NOT GROUND BREAKING, although it does shake the ground a bit. Van Gough died penniless, and could not give his paintings away when he was alive but now they sell for millions. Sometimes society gets it wrong. How on earth are you going to celebrate Kevin Hart in THIS MANNER, BEFORE Martin, or Keenan who both actually did break ground? ITS out if order. Not taking from Kevin who is the it guy now and most recognizable and will get you an audience for your Nielson ratings that you want high so that you can get advertising for next year. Oh, let's not forget the behind the scenes reasons that also play a big role in these choices.
It's just like Chris Brown asking ( with his dumb ass) who tf is Robert Glasper? Well, I knew exactly who he was and his level of genius is off the chart although NOT with the dumb downed masses; but who would give an award too to get an audience attention; Robert or Chris? Luckily Grammy Organization is established enough to choose substance over popular selling out arenas.

I’m not ever feeling Kevin Hart. He comes across as insincere in everything he says and does. And I don’t think he’s brilliant comedy. It’s forced and contrived, moronically induced, where he’s more the joke, like ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood,’ where it’s not self deprecating humor, but a low intelligent kind of energy, where he makes Executives wealthy for showing Black people as inept, buffoons. He’s simply tolerated. And is only in this room because of optics. He’s there - but not truly among these greats, nowhere ever in the depth or range of Eddie Murphy, Steve Harvey or all others who constantly shape humor as to what ascends, and not descends.
Kevin Hart will do anything to get paid. And as he said, his goal was to sell out stadiums, which none of these greats ever aspired to. They simply wanted to remain true to themselves, the craft, and their audiences. The fame came because of that sincerity. Hart simply gives the studios whatever they ask for.
He’s not funny!!!! and certainly not a legend!!!! And deep down, inside, he knows this is true!
