Thanks for this video i have all of these tools that were my late dads. and i work on small engines when im not working at a factory. so now i know what the tools are and how to use them. thanks!!
This is really clear, thank you. I am going to check mine using this as a guide and will also check the piston rings using your other K321 video on how to install the rings properly as a guide. I have oil in the head and after a gasket replacement, still got it. Thanks for providing such clear and easy to understand videos.
Andrew Farrant I don't but good suggestion to make one. I can probably put one out in a couple of weeks. meanwhile see the Kohler Service manual. it's pretty well explained and illustrated
when you took the measurement using the telescoping springy tool, you started at the top and worked from side to side. that is the X axis measurement. you do 3 of those from top to bottom. how is the y axis measurement taken? I didn't catch that...

+Rob Brown You're welcome! You're on the right track if your have oil creeping up into the cylinder head.
I've always wonder how to do this thanks for sharing :)
+Isaac Schuler You're welcome! Stay tuned for more! I will have enough videos to teach you everything you need to know to rebuild small engines.
This should apply nicely towards my Subaru 2.5i ty
do you have a video of how to properly hone a cylinder. And what grit do you recommend for a K532. Thanks for the videos.
Yea check out our rebuild series Playlist. You want a final grit of 220

90 degrees from where you took them at the x axis
Hey, will you ever be selling gas tanks in the future?
+Will Klaer Maybe. I did research on getting metal gas tanks fabricated for resale. However at this time, it is not cost effective.
