Blaming the destruction of hospitals, government buildings, schools, over 50% of buildings, displacing millions on "human shields" is an amazing turn of phrase.
It's interesting since, according to their own logic, Hamas was justified in firing missiles into cities where Israeli officials and solders reside. For example, Israel bombed a refugee camp, killing over 200 people, in an attempt to assassinate ONE Hamas member, "using human shields" they didn't even know if they killed him or not.

@@johnohara197Except that Brianna was 100% correct in stating that deaths on the Palestinian side over 75 years have been massive compared to those suffered by Israelis due to the resistance. She's also right that Israel will never see peace as long as the occupation and its crimes continue - this conflict has created even more militants with nothing to lose...a dangerous state of affairs indeed. However, Israel is so used to living in a constant state of conflict that they wouldn't know how to live without it - it's part of the Israeli psyche now.

Never heard the show and no nothing about attempts to fire ms. Hill. There seems to be an overwhelming attempt to excuse Hamas and deflect everything back to anything Israel has or is alleged to have done while ignoring things Hamas has done or said. How long would it take any of us to leave our house, town or state if we were warned to leave now or risk death. Even if by foot, would you not heed such warnings? Why have other Arab nations not joined in to condemn Hamas brutal attack or better yet their mistreatment of Palestinians by taking aid provided by those countries and used those funds not for food, power, medicine, infrastructure, industry, etc. if Gaza acted like a city attempting to lift itself out of poverty rather than resistance, Israel would have no reason to constrain and defend itself.

This journalist was not very good in defending Israel. First off the casualty number is made up by Hamas. There is no way they could come up with a figure instantaneously. Secondly, according to Israel, 5000 Hamas fighters have been killed that sounds about right since Israel has suffered hundreds of military casualties Finally omitted from this discussion is the fact that Hamas has been launching rockets every day at Israel, of which 20% misfire and land in Gaza killing their own people. We know that Hamas lies because of that false report on the hospital. You don't have to be trained to see that they use children who read, scripts to engender sympathy. I feel sorry for people who are so gullible they would be easily manipulated.

That's what an editorial in Hamas said. They argued that Netanyahu had put all of his effort into the settlements, the right-wing side of his coalition, and his own political problems, at the expense of actually protecting Israel's security.

Also I like how at the end she said, “At a certain point it’s irresponsible to let you keep going”. lol. So true. To pretend Gaza is a fully autonomous state that is simply poorly run internally is a lie. Hamas has done terrible things, but what kind of conditions led to them being in charge? A decades long siege perhaps? My only hope is that this leads to a one state solution in the end where everyone can have equal rights. Maybe this tragedy is the catalyst? I can only hope.
