Can I just make a suggestion. If you are still having trouble with your nail foils and are using gel polish underneath, BE SURE TO Remove the inhibition layer with 90% alcohol before applying your foil gel. There is definitely something in some gel polishes that doesn't interact well with the foil glue. I was so happy when I finally figured this out. 🙄😁

Hey girl I told my subscribers this glue is the truth I use it to stick on little metal embellishments I use it for foil paper I even use it 4 Stones sometimes I like it because once it's cured and you place the item on the nail, it won't move around like such with a base coat anyway very glad you stumbled upon it and you're enjoying it..... they also sell a pack of two of just the glue on Amazon I think for about 15 99 everyone should get this it's multi purposeful

You can also cut out specific foil motifs you want to use and place them in the exact spot you want them, it gives a cleaner and more precise finish.

Thank you again for a fantastic video! I am so impressed with Markartt's Foiling Gel Kit. They/re keeping up with the nail trends and even creating some new ones, too! I will try this one for sure! I also had a really hard time finding a foil gel that worked like I wanted it to and finally found "Stick It!" It's also a UV/LED gel so I'm thrilled with the chance to try another brand! The one I have comes in a little pot. The bottles are way easier to use! You're always coming up with the best videos, Denise, so thank you again!!

There is also a brand from SheModern that is uv cured. I think she just calls it glue gel. Also I have found another brand, but can’t find it now, and urban graffiti came up with some too. I do love this kit though. Looks to me like the hottest deal out there. And I do love maakart products. And of course I always love me some Denise!
Pam Miller I have that one too as well as Enailcouture.com’s Magic Foil Gel, but in my opinion “Stick It” and hopefully what Denise demonstrated here, Markartt’s foil gel, will be the best foil gels to use!

Everytime I watch your channel I go straight to Amazon, etc and start shopping. I bought the scarlet drill then the scamander and now on to this foil gel and a few of the poly gels you reviewed. As a matter of fact , today I used this foil gel and their foil to create some beautiful New Years nails . A little late , but better than never . You will love it . You don’t need to apply it thick at all . Just a nice thin layer .

Great video! I have always had bad results with foils. I have tried them on regular nail polish and with gel polishes. Every time I apply the top coat they crack and end up looking awful. I even tried no wipe gel top coat and regular gel top coat over gel polish when I heard that these would not crack the foil and I still got the same results. I was very disappointed and so far I have not found a top coat (gel or not) that does not crack the foils :(

I actually just got this exact set/glue etc. from Amazon today. I did NOT cure it with my UV light, just let it get tacky on its own and it worked great :) I guess I will try the UV light next time (NO I did not read the directions haha!) I used :"other foil" I had here.
That is suppose to be cured . It must not be the same formula . This would never dry for you to do that . I know because I used it .

I tried all day and still having the problem. They just don’t stick completely. Makes me wonder if I got a bad batch. I watched several videos and tried all suggestions and still nothing. I know my lamp is good because it’s curing my gel polish.
Maybe try curing the foil gel only 30 seconds , let cool 30 seconds , then foil . Other than that I don’t know what to tell you . You can try cleaning the back of the foil with alcohol then foil

Thanks for recording and uploading your take on this foiling gel! I've been looking for a foil gel that had the right tackiness to it that would permit nail transfer foils to transfer fully on top of BOTH acrylic and gel polish.

I only have a couple foils bc I can't find a good foil glue. I haven't seen a gel glue before, so I think I'll try it. You get lots of product plus beautiful foils to go along with it. I only hope they ship to Canada.🤞 Thanks for the demo😊
It’s a great kit and the foil gel works ! Wow . If they don’t ship to you ... look on eBay or Aliexpress , because I know they sell there too .... It’s cheaper a lot of times too .

Oh lovely foils, BETTER get Some of these! I love PROFILES Backstage pass, check out thier black stick it, & clear stick it, these are the only ones I've found to work on ANY FOILS! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING you do!

I'm in the military and obviously these nails are out of regulations so to get around that, I used the natural pink polygel as a base and the holographic style flowers on all my nails and encapsulated with clear polygel and now all I have to do is use regular polish. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner 😅

you're using the technique that I was by not cutting the paper but I thought that was wrong based on another video so I cut it and I was filling in empty spaces too on my nails with the foil! :)
Kinda crazy how you saved the bad little bit with a bigger flower on top. I, for some stupid reason, always try to re-use the little bit that didn't stick and it NEVER works.

I haven’t tried BPS foil glue yet ..... but hope to soon .
I finally figured it out. I put on one coat of whatever colour underneath and I accurate for 60 seconds. Then I put foil glue on and cure for 60 seconds. Then I let it air dry for 30 seconds or more until it’s super tacky and apply. Took me six hours to figure it out. 😂

With this glue you can use any foil . It should work great . I’m waiting for my Halloween 🎃 foils to come it !
Just wanted to add that there are not 2 bottles of glue in the box. Just one, but the other bottle is a glaze or topcoat. I still love the kit though.

I have failed at foiling over and over :( I was thinking the foil from Amazon might be the culprit. Now I think the adhesive may be the reason, the adhesive I have is the white adhesive. I am going to pick this Makartt's adhesive and keep fingers crossed :) Thanks for a great video! Oh btw, how the heck do I know if a gel polish has that sticky layer or not? Have you noticed no one tells you this LOL!

Hi Denise, I always have trouble with my foils lasting. After maybe a week I start losing pieces of topcoat and foil. Any tips? Thank you
You should be using a gel top coat . Then nothing comes off .
Apply a thin layer of clear hard gel, cap the edges, then apply the gel top coat and they will last a lot longer
