    As usually,Jonathan transcription takes on its own life, not replacing the original music, written for lute. Beautifully done!

    Bravo! I've always wanted to hear Guitar Concerto in D Major on the pipe organ and finally found it. Next to Ave Maria it's one of the most ethereal melodies ever written. Like songs that were ordained by God himself. They brings chills up and down my spine and I feel complete peace.

    I have just discovered the brothers. Heard the astounding Rhapsody in Blue the other night, it is amazing! Love what they do! Australia.

    I keep rediscovering Vivaldi. Thanks. I dream also of hearing this on a baroque instrument in a crisper environment. Yet, this is beautiful in a big space.

    Very nice sonorous organ!
    Great idea to separate out components from recent concerts and post them as stand alone. I hope that Jonathan and Tom will do this with the Alexandre Guilmant piece 'Lift Up You Heads' Jonathan played at Évreux cathedral.

      @Rosecrus Před 3 lety +6

      @@Rosecrus I'll third that. That recital was my favorite from last year. I'd also like a separate video of the Gigout Grand C. Dialogue, I love+++ the U of Manchester version but that French organ gives me palpitations. I feel like the Tin Man, what an echo!! Did I mention I like French organ? 🤣 And you a fan? Never would have guessed. 😉😅🎹🎶

      @@terryr.sublimeorganmusic Haha. If you would never have guessed, it is a good thing I told you.
      I agree with your shy little mention of the French organ. I absolutely adored that concert in Évreux. But as I told you - I am a true Jonathan nut, so all things he plays I love.

      @@Rosecrus Trust me, we're in the same boat! Two of their three concerts were canceled when I visited last March, I'm still recovering from the loss! These wonderful online concerts are a blessing and reprieve from the sadness surrounding us. They are two very fine musicians and gentlemen.
