Thinking About You Strum Pattern

Tell me if this helps: I'm strumming every single down and up beats. It's in 4/4 time so that means every eighth note. [ 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +]
Base note: G F# G F# C C
G for beats: 1 + 2
F# for beats: + 3 +
G for beats: 4 + 1
F# for beats: + 2 +
C for Beats: 3 4
I am accenting (strumming harder on the G (beats 1 and 4) and the two C down beats (beats 3 and 4)
