Par 1 of our three night stop in Benidorm, Spain.
On a budget again, we made our way 90 mins along the Spanish coast to Benidorm.
MASSIVE THANKS to our buddy and host for the last 7 days, who dropped us off right outside the hotel.
We thought the hotel looked great at first, but I think we must have had a bad room, cause it wasn't the best in the world.
Hotel Flats Friends Mar Blau, is situated right on the front at Benidorm, and I'm sure it would have been a different story if we had got one of the rooms with a sea view.
The toilet, although it said it had been cleaned, quite clearly hadn't, as there was human excrement down the front of the bowl. The bar holding the sower together came down and hit me on the head, and the light switch surround fell off the wall too. The view was worst of all. There was no balcony at all, and you couldn't even stick your head out of the window to see the street that you were in, as the bas were too close together. Just awful.

Stayed in that hotel many times always book a sea view
I tried, there wasn’t any available. I only booked a few days in advance.
What's the name of the bar at the very end where you had the magners please it looked lovely!!
Hi, thanks for watching. It was called Oliver's British Bar. It was in a little square just before you enter Tapas Alley from the sea side

Best of luck. If you get a sea view, it’ll be a wonderful place to stop. There’s a bit of a bank going down into the old town, but it’s not too bad.
Discussed were gloves when cleaning toilets

Not a shitty toilet at any price though
It gives you more money to use the hotel just to sleep & spend the savings on the beautiful delights that Benidorm has to offer 😊 use your room for sleeping & washing 😊😊 the rest of the time your view can be stunning !!
@@foxystravels l completely agree with a dirty toilet !! It's disgusting but you sorted it !! We've just paid a fortune for 5 days in September & if they said its half price to have to wet wipe a little bit of bathroom dirt !! "Show Me The Money" 🤣🤣 l have no shame 🤣🤣 Enjoy your holiday & remember it could be a lot worse !! You could be still here !!

Simple solution. Pay a bit more for a decent hotel. I tried a cheapy in that area as well. Never again. Just saying. 😏
