I use mine as a Pig Hunting rig. Yeah it is a bit heavy, go the gym a few times a month. It is very accurate. Like my HK91, it never has had an issue no matter the junk ammo I have used.
Thank you for your comment, I unfortunately live in Maryland and we can only have Ak pistols no rifles , but PTR doesn’t look scary so we can have that. Your comment helped me decide.
Hop, my guy this is the only ptr you haven’t reviewed yet when are you going to get one? I think the 32 is the one that makes the most sense especially if you get a short one. I’m dying to see a video on it. Much loves.
And if you get impatient you can add a sling stud to that handguard he's using an mount a bipod that way. I'm signed up for an email notification at RTG but this solution works for me in the interim.
Just the ac unity which also has metal in it. I'm positive all plastic bolt hold opens will beak and metal ones would not last long. I think the issue is they are designed for the AK pattern but can't hold up to the bolt slamming forward on the ptr especially since the 7.62x39 ptr is using a 308 recoil spring bolt.
I wish I could say I love mine, but the break in period is killing me. I haven't gotten through 500rds yet because of all the stoppages. I haven't gotten any stove pipes recently, but the light strikes are annoying. Could be the cheap steel case ammo, but I sure don't wanna use brass for such a long break in period
That's too bad. I know they say sometimes you get a lemon from them but will fix it. If you can, I'd check the bolt gap to see if its within spec in the manual, of it isn't, return, if it is in spec and you don't wanna return it right away, maybe a g3 replacement firing pin and firing pin spring may help I believe they are the same as in the 7.62x39 ptr series.
I have a PTR 91 and I ran 500 rounds of ammo through it with various mags, and it jammed multiple times, it turns out something was wrong with it. I shipped it back to PTR and they fixed the issue and sent it back to me, it runs great now 👍.
@@ak_night-stalker0208 strange, wonder if it was a bad spring. I'm sure you know this but I'd replace it with a new spring asap to prevent slam fires or firing easily when dropped.
They do but of you have an nfa item you gotta show them the stamp. But I assume if they hear rapid fire they assume someone brought and nfa item and never told the range officer. But as we all know, all range officers think more than 1 round a second is full auto
The real G3 was Produced 30.000.00 times to the Portuguese military alone, 10.000.00 to multiple South American countries, 60.000.00 to Cambodian military. This platform worked, call of duty gun scholars!!!
@@aaronpoulson4903 countries that adopted G 3 as a service rifle mostly have changed to A4 (M 16) like Pakistan & many others because of G3s bad performance ,while A4 ( M 16) is the best as a service rifle more practical & light weight Battle field master !!!

It has an optic and no silencer. What channel am I even watching any more!?
Ha, a dissapointment to the followers I'm sure. The name is an inside joke that came about from Modern Warfare back in 05

@@forestgiest1380 My ptr32 has Light primer strikes every 2 rounds,Already want to sell it😰
@@tommyghast940 Mine was getting light primer strikes, and ejects stupidly forward. Not reliable with barnaul, mostly reliable with tula.
@@Pootydanglesore I seem to have found a solution, remove the lubrication completely, fire dozens of rounds, and it works!
Cool! Just got one. Can't wait to shoot it. At my age with my old eyes 3x is great!
I think you will. Find the recoil soothing
great vid, love this gun
How heavy is the barrel area?
Any experience with AC Unity mags on that rifle? I'm debating getting one of those 20 packs of 30er mags from RTG.
Mine works with ac unity mags just make sure the mags don't have a bolt hold open follower, this rifle will destroy bolt hold open followers
Yea, I've got one too. I like it. Where did you get that bipod?
Rtg parts. They come and go for periods of time.

can you advise where to look for the collapsing stock? I'm about to get my first PTR 32.
Got it from hkparts but they have become rare and very expensive. Might have luck on gun broker
Try. RTG
Fun range gun. Manual of arms just sucks
Ever tried a Weapon Tech AK BHO Follower with it?
