Gyro Loop at Ocean Park: Santa Monica Pier: Evidence on Why Loose Articles Aren't Allowed on Rides!

Back in February I took a trip out to Los Angeles to revisit some old parks while also checking out some new places and Ocean Park in Santa Monica was one of them. The place had a different vibe than some of the East Coast beach parks I've been used to and I have constantly put off on visiting here due to there being only one coaster. I must say that the park and pier did surprise me a little.
While the pier did a feel a tad touristy with some permanent gift shops, it felt like a great place where you had many locals from all backgrounds showcasing and selling their talents from foods, to items, to even music performers and rappers. There was even a couple who looked to be there filming either a music video or promotion of some sort.
Ocean Park looked to be a nice small park on the pier with a nice atmosphere. The ride selection was a bit generic, but there were several unique attractions such as this manually-controlled Gyro Loop which probably would be one of the most intense rides at the park!
If you watch to the end, you will see why you should not trust your pockets to hold your items while on a ride or coaster!
