To install other games beyond the first from a launcher, do you need to go back to desktop mode? Just got my deck today and this was the second thing we installed (GOG), the first being Skyrim of course.
nope! you can install more games while in gaming mode :)
It works perfectly, thank you! The only issue I had was logging into my Epic account, as the software keyboard is difficult to activate here.
How did you get the keyboard to pop up? I can’t get logged in.
@@Sh0w468 Go to Steam Game Mode and start epic in full screen Mode. Click into the Text field and try to activate the keyboard with the A or X key. Then it is important to navigate with the two Touch pads to type in the email. Same for the password.
Epic launcher is forcing me to install on C drive (which is full) and I don't see any options to download to my sd card. Do you know how to do that?
Work on first try, but after some days all launchers stopped to work. Try to unistall and fresh start but not working anyway.
Does this allow you pkay steam deck optimized games via proton or do they haveto be linux native? In other words, will i need to install windows to play them or does it work via proton anyway?
so far everything has run just fine through proton, cant speak for every game but i've tried a few
When you download these games are they streaming or are you actually playing the game without streaming?

really weird. I launched the file you showed (.sh) and it simply didn't work just opened up steam with nothing installed. I also noticed it wasn't the latest version despite downloading it and the folder being named correctly. I tried the .desktop file and it launched the newest version and installed the launchers correctly??

Didn't show up on steam on desktop mode. But going back to gaming mode the epic lanicher showed up.
After I did the 1 step a downloading the epic and rockstar……. I can not see these in my steam and idk why? Can help me someone

You have to add the app as an external steam game to your library

this dosent work anymore. steam just opens as soon as download finishes
try the .desktop file. for some reason the .sh file didn't work just opened steam like yours did but the .desktop file worked fine
@@Matt.Hurley what do you mean by the .desktop file? im having the same problem, download but not showing in steam
@@JakeAxltttthere is a file that is the same name as the .sh file but with .desktop at the end. I can't remember tbh because I uninstalled everything. I got the GOG launcher working but the games themselves didn't work at all.
