Hello! I just found your channel. This video came up on my feed. Im so happy for yall! Looks like a great time! I live in franklin area, use to live in bryson city. It’s a beautiful area. It has grown a LOT in the last 5 years. Much more congested and more folks living here full time , instead of Florida etc. I do love it here, but not sure how much longer I’ll be able to manage it/afford it. I’ve been a widow over a decade. I use to go to Cades cove often. Anyway, thought I’d drop a bite and say how I admire y’all for continuing to get out and enjoy. What state/area is your home base? Im just curious, since I’m new. I’ll try to go back and look at older videos. Seems like you have a beautiful life! Im so happy for yall!

I admire you for walking that. It’s a LONG way! Good for you! I think it’s wonderful thst the park closes it off for oks and walking. We lived within a national park. When my husband died (life estate from eminent domain) had 3 months to be gone. It was on an island with no bridges, stores, nothing. So I came to the smokies.
