2.4 KILOMETER. In the middle of the desert, with windows everywhere, no air circulation, probably no plants, because the inside will be dark.
They should rename it “The oven”.

I appreciate the new jingle that divides the topics. The former one had some dystopian vibes. The new one is bright and friendly. Thank you. :)

3:25 Same with the new Tram expansion in Barcelona. It is sad we had to go with third rail instead of usual cathenary just cause some NIMBYs say it "destroys the views" :(
Btw, when the new branch finally opens I'll comment here so it can be in Urban News xd :)

    Awesome video
Sad to hear the story about Addis Abbaba, the metro was very cheap to build, I hope they can maintain their infrastructure in thr future

Shortening of Neom to 2.4 kilometers means that what I like to call "Polish The Line" (aka Neom done right) which is the densely developed southern section of M1 metro line in the district of Ursynów is officially twice as long as the Saudi version. Lmao

Man i love these videos you seem to be turning this into general news channel.
Dubai floods, Baltimore bridge collapse from last week are irrelevant events from a transit/urban planning perspective.
I come here for niche transit news that nobody covers, not world issues that are all over every news channel already
Rest of the video is great, thanks

Of course, I don't plan to turn these episodes into Disaster News, but I still try to look at it a little bit more broadly, because I think the way mobility is organized has an impact on the climate, and it's also worth talking about.
So I set a limit of 1 disaster per episode for myself :)

I'm not convinced by the article trying to portrait the issues in Addis Ababa as a fault of Chinese investment. Ethiopia has literally been in civil war, when a country has political instability and war, failure to keep up with infrastructure will inevitably happen, we can't blame a third party.

No news from the countries with the fastest growing public transport systems : China, India, Iran and Turkey ?
