literally so closee its only 9 days until i go to disneyland, and traver has been helping me along the journey this whole time!
I’m going to Disneyland in 5 days and im soooo excited!!!!! Thanks Traver for all your help planning!!!
Commenting for the algorithm…I hope you and your family are having/had a great time at Disney World!!
My husband and I are going Wed, Thurs, and Fri this week! Using our Magic Key Passes for the first time!! Whoo Hoo!
Have a great time!
Another great post from the best SoCal Disney youtuber!
Thank you!
Being Canadian for us November was an amazing time to go. So not to hot and no rides closed and it was less crowded.
I’m craving going back again ever since I have watched you I been to Disneyland twice and DCA 3 times
The character drawing reminds me of the Chicago Disney arcade experience and that was so much fun. Wish that small experience was available for us still.
If you ever get a chance to film that top secret hack for Toy Story Midway Mania, you'd be my hero. Lol
Once Benjamin is 7 I can do that for you. But you’ll need to wait until September. 🤣
I’d need Amy to film while I pull it off. And that won’t be possible until the kids can ride alone together (on the other side of the same vehicle still of course).
@@SoCalDisneyDad Yes! I need the answers! I've never even heard of that one before! Lol
When I first visited the park, a long time ago, before The Little Mermaid ride opened, they had a restaurant called Ariel's Grotto where you could meet the princesses. But that's long gone.
That was what Lamplight Lounge replaced. It wasn’t too long ago. 7 years maybe?
@@SoCalDisneyDad Yeah, that makes sense. I was referring to how long ago my trip was, more than anything. Twenty years! The next time I visited was in 2021.
Great video! I really appreciate having a walk through! We go in 1 month and I haven’t been to DCA or Disneyland in 16 years. This really will help me get my bearings ❤
Happy anniversary and hope you can celebrate your 15th at Tokyo Disney! Both parks there are amazing!
I really like your question and answer segments, very well done thanks you two.🇺🇸
Thanks!
13 years! That’s so amazing! I’m hoping Tokyo Disneyland becomes a reality for you guys!
I walked around DCA for the whole day too!! lol!
We just got back from our trip today. Your tips and advice helped SO MUCH!!! We are going back in November and then DisneyWorld next November. You have fans for life now !!! Thank you.
They should bring early entry back for 5 day plus tickets
Thank you so much! I'm going in about a week and my family won a $500 3 day gift card here. Can't wait!
The Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs in Downtown Disney doesn't get enough love in the corn dog battles. In particular, the Golden Dragon Dog that is coated in Panko. They fry them to order which is even better.
Our 10yr old daughter loves art, so the art animation is a definite go to on her personal list of must do's .
She is a crazy Stitch fan and is hoping they a stitch lesson available when we are there.
30 days to go..
I should have gone in and filmed the schedule. I’ve done it before, but I don’t remember when.
Of course, they could change it daily for all I know. I should make a habit of checking each visit to see if they shuffle them around.
@@SoCalDisneyDad how often do they change the schedule ? Or is it always the same daily schedule
@@MichelleRowe-qm7yd That’s what I don’t know. And need to try to figure out.
@SoCalDisneyDad well just know that whatever you find out will be greatly appreciated from us. We love your dedication to helping everyone with there upcoming trips. You guys are selfless and completely awesome.
Siri just trying to make a cameo 😂
lamplight is super worth it! its such a great place to relax and have some yummy food
I Agree with you on the world of color! The original is the best!
I have done the WOC dessert party now twice, would do that over the Fantasmic dining package. I love Fantasmic, but with the WOC dessert party you have a chair!
Nice! How is the view?
@SoCalDisneyDad It is nice. High and low tables. Tip. Do early show, most time. You can get a to go box. And order all your drinks when you sit down.
Great like always
I learned a lot - thanks!
Going next week. So excited..!
This comment is mostly for the algorithm, but also to thank Traver and Amy for their tips. They really made my day at Disneyland and DCA incredible! 🤩And I have to agree with Amy, Mickey's wheel of terror made me sick for the entire ride! Won't do that again anytime soon. 🤢
great video! excited to see the disneyworld footage 😀
Can you make a video on places where we can leave our bags or rides where we can take our bags? Great video as always.
You can take your bag on every ride at Disney!
Super helpful! Thank you.
Ok thanks. I'm going in June too
20:05 girllll what chfhhf i am always so soaked on grizzly that i cant ring all the water out my clothes and i have to buy new ones whereas iv gotten just droplets on me on kali 😂
I’ve been drenched in both. Haha. On our last ride through of Kali (2 years ago) we just got droplets, but that’s because we weren’t at the bottom during the drop.
But on our honeymoon, both of us got soaked to the core on Kali.
The seats near wider gaps get more wet on Grizzly River Rapids. I got very soaked one year, so much so I had to buy new clothes in the park and had to ring out wet clothes that were still wet at park close. Also, thank you for tips on Midway Mania, need to up my score! 🎯
Let’s go 😎
Very curious about club level at pixar place hotel! I already made my reservations for october but im just curious if its worth it
hey travor, do you think you can do a food review or park review at Disneyland because I am going this week!
Same!
What specifically are you looking for?
Hmm, I think you should tour hotels one day, and then to answer your question I feel like maybe best food and drinks, like your top 5 or 10 at Disneyland?
Aloha; POG if you don't know means Passion Fruit, Orange, And Guava juice.
I bought my hubby the red "Incredibod dad" shirt.
He still has never seen the movies. LOL!
Guardians of the Galaxy Breakout is definitely better (More entertaining) than tower of terror. But I HATE not having control of the ups and downs.
I think that the best ride at DCA is the Incredicoaster, followed closely by Soaring and then Toy story mania. Although Web Slingers is great too!
I am wondering why they dedicated such a big area to one movie. SanFranSokio? Big Hero 6, was not a movie that I would expect to have much of a following. Younger children would get scared (Too Dark and the older brother is killed). I just viewed it recently again, and not something I would expect to have so much influence. Are they planning another movie to go with the theme?
I hope that the new ride in Avengers is a Guardians coaster, like in DW.
Interesting characters - I saw Duffy once. Who's Duffy? (White bear in a sailor suit very juvenile too young) haven't a clue. I would love to see Abominable from Monsters inc.
My hotel at Disney is closer to downtown Disney district than the main entrance to Disney. Can I still rope drop if I take the tram into Disney from downtown? I can’t decide what the best way to get in would be!
You’d be better off walking through Downtown Disney, than walking to the parking garage to take a tram. Unless you’re on that end (by Ball Rd).
But you can absolutely still rope drop. You just have to plan for the time it takes to get to the park.
When did you film this because I was at dca two days ago for Judy Hopps but she wasn't there
When did you film this because I wa there two days ago for Judy Hopps but she wasn't there
May 11th
What time does it get dark this time of year at Disneyland?
Where can i check the size for kids to can take all the attractions ??? I have 1 kid with 5 and 1 with 3 years.
Do you think rope drop is the best time to ride the radiator racers?
Single rider is the best way to ride it. As soon as Benjamin is 7, we will never do standby again.
But for the best time to do the least amount of waiting on that ride, rope drop on a non-early entry day is the answer.
I still don’t like how much time it takes away from enjoying a near empty park, though.
Can you make a video of how legoland california will be this summer?
We will probably make it back there at some point in June and will put a video together.
Im going in the 2nd full week in june
Not true that Disneyland doesn't offer paper tickets. Servicemembers and former servicemembers can get Disneyland paper tickets at the Information, Tickets, and Tours (ITT) office on base. We can enter the park with them or scan them into the app via barcode/QR Code. Although they are probably considered a 3rd party ticket vendor, you can enter the parks with them. The tickets are sold at an awesome military discount. HUGE fan of your videos btw.
That doesn’t help the average guest. And we were just repeating the cast member official word. But good to know all the same! Thanks for sharing!
If I were to go in September for 2 day hoppers would it be better to go on one non Oogie Boogie Bash day and then one bash day, like a Monday and Tuesday. Or would it be better to go on Friday and Saturday when it’s no bash either day? Are the crowds much different or about the same?
It won’t matter much. Not with hoppers.
How is WDW so far?? ❤
Having a great time! We are about to make our way over to Universal for the next two days. Then back at Disney Wednesday evening.
Hi,
Me again… Question: I’m going on October and I know the Guardians at mid-afternoon change to a Halloween themed. Can I book Genie+ in the AM for the regular Guardian and then in the PM for the Halloween version? Will allow me to do that? (I know is 1 ride per day with Genie. Just curious)
Or what strategy you recommend for me to do both versions?
Thanks 😊
According to the internet, it sounds like they are considered two different attractions meaning you could book two different lightning lanes. However, we have not personally tested this out to confirm. If you wanted to be safe, then rope drop regular guardians and then save the lightning lane for later. Or ask a cast member if you have time when you first get there.
@@SoCalDisneyDad thank you so much
Disney should consider that there are a few people who do not have phones, believe or not! So they should give out paper tickets to people who don’t have smart phones.
Gotta disagree on the shows. I think the fireworks are best as they are not just more iconic, but also a more immersive and epic experience with all the projections and everything. Plus you can combine it with Fantasmic. And I enjoyed ONE more than the regular World of Color, so I recommend you watch it properly someday!
Also, Little Mermaid is way better than Monsters Inc. in my opinion, but to each their own.
Thanks for the Midway Mania tip!
All good! Everyone has their own preferences!
