VRoid finally added ear bones! If you still wanna control how they move, this should still work. :] The ears are more springy than wavy with their default physics VRoid gives them.
Does it bother you that the accessories in the stable VRoid doesn't have physics when you move around in VSeeface? Here's an easy way to fix that using VRoid's hair and Blender!
Even if you're new to blender, this should be pretty easy!
Do not touch CATS if you have it.

Note Do NOT extract the files for this. Leave them packed and load them in this way. 90% of the time this doesn't work it's because they've been unpacked. There is a visual tutorial on how to load this in.

kind of sad for some reason my blender will not open vrm file.. i have vrm add on but it not working.. darn.. :/
Sometimes I had to do the hair erasing and such a few times to get it to cooperate, but after following the video visually (audio isn't sufficient), I got it working wonderfully.
Thanks for this. I feel like after doing this a few times I can easily remember it and start experimenting more.

I used Unity to attach tails to hips.
All good.
I used blender to do as above, making ears floppy.
Now, my eyes are white, aka no irises.
I don't know why or how to fix this.
Oooooh that's so nice. I'm a little divided tho, between "hey, shouldn't it be easier to just paint the weight" and "let's not have that much work, it's simple, it's quick, it works: it's perfect!!!"
It's more because people hear "weight painting" and it's scary, so this was the solution I thought of that's easy enough. :)

My ears look like they already had bones. Does the stable version with the ears accessories already make them?
It updated and they have bones now, yes. This method does make them more wiggly and flowy though! When I made this tutorial, they didn't have bones.
This was so helpful, but my expressions in vsee are a little wonky after exporting from Blender. 🥺
You might need to adjust your expressions a little more in unity. What exactly are they doing?
