    In this video i am going to show you how we can calculate gate resistor of mosfet using some formulas. this will guide you to make a various projects based on SMPS or DC to DC cunverter .
    finally we can calculate resistor using various formula but we are going to discuss 2 of them.
    Mosfet gate is very critical to drive so proper care should be needed to calculate proper gate resistor this ensure better performance of mosfet.

    yes usually to determine the gate resistor value is 12ohm (Vgate 12V, gate current ±1A), the gate diode serves to accelerate the current to ground when the voltage falls down, and must be given a pull down resistor to ground

      Sir. Sabse pahle ye dekhna hoga circulating current kitna hai . Phir ye dekhna hoga MOSFET ka rating kya hai. MOSFET ka contineous current Circulating current se 30% jyada ho toh aacha hai. Thank you

      Jyada fast rise fall se ringing issue aata hai, switching loss ko complete remove ni kiya jaa sakta, apko apne use according adjust karna hoga.

    Bahot sahi explain kiya aapne thankyou sir. Hum aapko apne inverter ka schemetic bhejna chahte hai jo ki H-bridge me hai isme IRF3710 MOSFET ki jagah 60NF10 MOSFET laga diya hai lekin gate resistance nahi change kiya jabki change karna chahiye tha according to your vdo. To please aap bataiye aapko circuit kaise bhejun aur discuss kaise karun. Thanks

    good stuff. To reduce power supply BOM exclusive for the gate driver, can we use a charge pump (voltage tripler) to boost 5v to 15V to power a gate driver.
