Couple of things 1) you need some straps to secure the freight during transport. If it gets damaged you are responsible and 2) you walked away to deliver the mirror and left the van open with the tv’s in full view ? 🤦🏾 Not getn on you , just some constructive criticism for you to do better . Always secure your vehicle especially when it’s out of you eyesight
Lol
Can’t knock good insight. That’s good constructive criticism.
Lol
man people have been in the comments telling him to strap stuff down and be more gentle with customer merch he don't listen, you could make a 3 hour montage with "ok orders loaded, its x minutes to the drop off", cut to the next scene, "ok we're at the drop off" and everything is now upside down. I'm starting to think he does strap everything down then just messes it up himself to subtly troll us lol
I was about to say the same thing before reading your comment. That was well thought out 👍
Good job man. I’ve been following your channel since last year. It’s good to see another gig driver going putting in the work like us in our markets.
I live in Jersey and been doing Roadie for four and a half years. My star rating is 5.00 but all that doesn’t matter cause Roadie declines 98 percent if my gigs and give me the ones that drivers don’t want. It’s such a trash company. If you’re making money with Roadie you’re blessed by Jesus Christ.
Where I live we don’t even average .50 cents per mile
Keep up the good content 🔥✅💯
When you lowered your vehicle size in the app, you also lowered your earnings potential. They do that to drivers all the time.
Thanks for helping the lady
I have mine set to box truck on roadie
1:29 WOW that snow was crucial
Roadie has perfect width and demision they will find the cost efficient way to do it they will make sure it fits to the T down size your van is the key I have a smaller cargo van it’s gets me a lot of Home Depot gigs I’m starting to get 5 a day all there orders fit perfect to the t barley have room but it fits from precise measurements down size cargo gmc safari or astro van would be a perfect fit for all the orders
So you said you noticed some change, but was there a change in pay? More or less?
I tried doing Roadie and find it difficult. I thought I was good to go and when I tried to submit I was denied because apparently I need a consumer report, whatever that is. Why wouldn't that be done when I first signed up? Anyone else have this issue? It doesn't make sense to have someone try to start working just to be told they can't. Stupid
By getting orders do you mean orders showing up on your app or being accepted for orders ?

Hey brother what setting did you change?
4:51 I don't see all this going into smaller vehicles #IWonder
What model of your car?
Is this Hudson/Essex county?
takes mirror to deliver, leaves van open with 2 TVs sitting in there, lucky you didn't got got my man. I just don't trust ppl
on longer multi-hour trips can you pull over for a couple min to take a piss? or do most apps expect you to drive without stoping?
Curri don't want you stop.
@@Bigola will they do anything if you pull off the road for 1-2min?
@@jojothetasmaniansassmonkey8866 one day I stop to get gas not up to 3mins I got a notification from curri if I was stuck. Curri always piss me off
What they gonna do? Cancel the order?
@@dddd6088 kick you off their platform
Great video I’d like to very much. The only thing is Roadie is trying to cancel gig workers. I think it’s because they’re laying off UPS employees may be pushing them into Roadie work. Take the video down, though is great so they won’t come after you on this one. They locked me out, though I have perfect scores and no complaints and no late deliveries. But I only have about 100 deliveries total so I’m a small fry. I was locked out for two days. They kept trying to get back on the platform. They did not recognize my email over and over then I got back in that I turned in a survey they gave me immediately after lol I didn’t say anything bad
Pat, do you get tips from customers on roadie?
I have but it's not often
I was told by support that the app doesn’t allow for tips AFTER delivery….only prior to delivery. Tips with Roadie are rare. All of my tips were in cash on delivery (all luggage from the airport).
@@elliekusa65 I received a tip after drop off, yesterday.
The pay for the gig was for $35 before drop. later on, I looked at all my completed gig in the history page, just to be surprised I received a $5.00 tip, which brought my total for the gig to $40.00.
But the tip wasn't from the customer but the sender.
@@PatGigtainment I see... I've been receiving a decent amount of tips lately. It's definitely dependent on the market you deliver within.
While I don't get a tip at every single drop-off, it's been happening more often.
It also has a lot to do with if you make contact with the customer or not. I typically ring their doorbell in order to make contact.
It's so the customer knows their delivery has arrived and may want to retrieve their item/items ASAP.
They also may need help with an item, even though we as delivery drivers are not obligated to do anything more, than unload customer items in a safe place on their property, and this doesn't include inside their home.
This is solely at the discretion of the driver, if they want to go beyond the scope of their responsibilities, to provide a certain level of customer service that may or may not result in a tip at the conclusion of the drop off.
I think this results in more opportunities to receive a tip, as opposed to just placing items at the doorstep, taking photos, and clicking the complete drop off.
I think customers appreciate when an attempt is made to contact them once their delivery has arrived.
Pat, give it a try on the roadie for 1 week and post your results throughout the week in your daily youtube video journals. It'll only take an extra few seconds to ring their doorbell, and it won't hurt to see if a theory helps you get more tips.
I understood your decision, not to bring that HDTV up the stairs for that lady.
You made a judgment call, based on the foot where you had on, and coupled with the fact that we aren't technically allowed to enter customers' homes.
But you did assist her by pushing the HDTV box up the stairs, regardless.
This is what I mean, when I say it's at the discretion of the driver and people shouldn't judge other drivers, who exercise their decisions to go beyond their obligations.
They're neither right nor wrong, in certain circumstances, yet in your comments, people are talking bad about you for refusing to take the HDTV up the stairs by yourself but I think once you saw the customer was willing to help carry her own HDTV, that is when you sprung into action and helped.
In three instances, I was asked by three different customers if I dispose of items that are being replaced.....
a rolling garbage bin, a small fridge, and a tall fridge.
I took the small fridge for myself and have it for my personal use, and he also gave me a $20.00 tip.
I took the rolling garbe can for the customer as a favor, but I didn't with the huge fridge as I didn't want the responsibility of disposing of something that big.
He still tipped me $20.00 after telling him, I do not take the fridge he was replacing.
Nce #TheStruggleWasReal 😂😂😂
Roadie is just funny like that I don’t think changing your vehicle changed your fortunes. But nice to see you getting orders again
It doesn’t at all 🤣🤣 I jus talked to a roadie employee today and it’s literally based off the size of the order and mileage from start of the gig to end of the gig
@@jwitdabucks9064 yeah roadie is just luck and chance imo and a little bit of strategy
Tv lady tried to guilt trip you lol
😎📱🛣️💰👍
Shut up man you change to a pick up truck guys go make that money fellas.
Why does that effect it
@@dddd6088 huge gig = it always says "fits in a pick up truck".
Not a care in the world he didn’t even wanna help that poor lady that what you get service gigs 🤦🏾♂️
I notice that lol
Yeah, my man was trifling as hell. I got spike on my boots but you still did it and made her carry the front end. You've been inside plenty of other ppl houses
he did his job
his job is to deliver
not take in apartments, upstairs or in houses
i bet she didnt add a tip n even if he helped, she still wasnt gonna tip more
Morally we as men always want to help but he is not required too 🤷🏾♂️
@@carn28 You don't always need to be paid for doing the right thing at times. If I was an able body guy I'd understand a while lot better. Would that be the same if she was a senior citizen? You would need money to go up a few steps? That mean you are just as trifling
