Fantastic review Hi-Fri. Thank you. You are a magician. I do tube amp repair for guitarist mainly, but bigger companies like Mesa/Boogie have there coupling caps “customized” by Sprague but they are just re-branded Orange Drop caps. It happens a lot in all facets of audio a lot.
Thanks! Yeah, seems common to most industries. Slap a new label on it, call it custom, charge a premium. Lol
True No vent iems drive me crazy 💯 sometime I feel like they induce headache 😂 . I've never seen a ba internal 😮 thx for the vids

To me this shows what is possible with even budget components that are nicely implemented. I probably would have preferred the budget was put into better drivers but this is also one of the most acceptable splurges on looks that I have come across so far. How does this compare with the likes of the Aful P5 or the Blessing 2 in your opinion?
AFUL P5 has a similar timbre consistency mainly because it uses some of the same drivers, but P5 has more timbre in the upper mids. Bass is a little more blob-ish or rubbery in the P5 but the stage width is better, not sure about height and depth, tuning is also much more balanced on the P5 in my opinion. Not sure about B2 as it's been a long while since I've heard it.

Hi did you detect any BA smearing? What about the timing within those BA clusters?
Just audibly I can hear the masking. maybe it's inherent to the tuning but it's audible to me. As far as the timing within the clusters, I mean they all should be the same seeing as they are all at the same distance from the nozzle. The capacitors introduce a slight delay, about 90° phase shift from what I've been told by some engineers but you don't really hear it in the lower frequencies because of the wavelength of lower frequencies.
I enjoyed your review, I am about to get these, would you mind sharing your exact eq preset? It seems like you've got it dialed in😄Anyone else have a preset out there?
From everything I've read the TANGZU Tang Sancai tips can elevate alot of pressure build up for some with this IEM, I have yet to try them with it, owners of the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite leave your best tip for it :)

It follows diffuse field perfectly.
If you lower that region at 1k, the iem will sound anemic and very unnatural.
Who makes the BAs for softears?
They use multiple companies like everyone else.
I've seen Knowles in the RSV, E-audio in the Volume and Bellsing, sonion, etc in some of their other iem's.

I would like to review them but I do not have the money to buy any iem's right now as I'm building and selling my own soon. I need every dollar for parts.
