Choza states in the war arc that it’s crazy how choji can enter butterfly mode without the red pill. It’s implied choji surpassed the members of his clan, being the only one to ever use buttefly mode without the pills. So to answer(“where are the pills?”), he don’t need the pills anymore.

@@ImSuave459 we have never seen him use it and he literally said "choji is enterting butterfly mode without the pills". Insinuating hes never seen that done before. He can prob enter butterfly mode with the pills, but definitely not without them. The whole point of naruto is that the next generation is always that much more powerful.
When it comes to Choji's pills, the draw backs might be why he didn't use them. If the red pill is eaten, death is imminent. The fifth was able to naturalize the poison, preventing death. He was able to use his butterfly mode without the pills during the war arc, which can usually only be done by use of the pills.
Hello from nine months into the future: the pills are to assist those of the Akamichi clan whom have not properly learned how to use the Butterfly Mode. They are not a necessity - but rather like a training wheel to help someone get started in their clan into turning their body mass into chakra. A seasoned Akamichi should be able to use Butterfly Mode without the pills due to practice alone.
Using steroids isn't a skill
I just want to mention the Hidan stands no chance against Gaara in any way shape or form. Not saying Gaara is a god-tier monster part one, but his kit is a hard counter to Hidan. Hidan doesn't have any damage output to get to Gaaras blood. Also, Gaara could and would turn the battlefield into sand, making Hidans ritual circle impossible to maintain or or even draw.

@@zdiii3795 Perhaps not on the ground per se, but it does have to be complete, unbroken, and with him inside. And against an opponent like Gaara who can terraform at will, its just too hard a counter I believe for Hidan to have any kind of answer for.

It goes like this, In a Flash back during the battle with Madara when Hashirama captures the Nine tails he is badly hurt he has a Swollen eye multiple cuts on his face and blood everywhere however at the end of the fight Hashirama is in much better shape so that means Madara was actually beating Hashirama up quite a bit so that might mean that Madara was Actually stronger of the 2 but Hashirama could just outlast Madara and keep taking damage while Madara couldn't heal from the attacks he was hit with.

Doesn't even make sense. How are Naruto and Sasuke above Kaguya? Indra and Ashura above the Sage of Six Paths himself, Hagoromo? Itachi being stronger than Nagato? Especially Sakura (Kaguya Fight) being stronger than Obito and Madara when all she did was heal Obito and punch Kaguya ONCE when she was falling mid-air with her full attention against Naruto and Sasuke from sealing her away for eternity.

They placed Hashirama above Edo Hashirama, but Edo Tobirama above Tobirama. Also he placed EMS Madara above Hashirama, even though Hashirama literally won EVERY SINGLE FIGHT he had against Madara while holding back to not kill him. At the end, Madara used the nine tails to try to defeat Hashirama and it didn't even work lmao, he got killed by Hashirama and only got saved by Izanagi.

Regardless of what you think really happened, sakura had the speed/stealth to avoid detection from a byakugan and the strength to physically damage someone not even naruto could properly damage, while using boil release. Which by the way is a technique that is said to give naruto unrivaled taijutsu power. I hate sakura as much as the next guy, but lets at least try to be genuine with the scaling

I think Kisame is being severely underestimated, but I like how you guys didn't downplay Sasori. The guy is an actual beast and people constantly downplay him since he was the first to die, but he is easily in the upper ranks of the Akatsuki with his hax poison.
He got killed by Sakurah though, that makes him fodder. Kid Konahamaru could've beaten him cuz he killed a path of pain. Plus Konahamarus teacher was better than Kakashi, so kid kona could beat Sakurah too. Probably at the same time.

Swag and six should do a watch through of shippuden together as. A series, now that we're like so far away from shippuden being over, I don't think them rehashing episodes straight up would be a bad idea.

Problem with scaling part 1 Naruto is the fact that he was arguably a low level chuunin fighter running around with a Jonin level jutsu. That Rasengan is dangerous 😅
Part 1 also had a lot of inconsistences with the kyuubi influences, its just hard to scale in general
@@bank2378 it all just depended on how much chakra Kurama gave him that's why it's so hard to scale. The only clear thing is the more emotional Naruto is the more chakra Kurama gives.
Don't forget how shadow clone jutsu was at least a jonin level or higher jutsu, his clones were actual living beings with feelings and thoughts, his whole aresenal actually was way past his level at that time period lol sometimes I wish he learned a bunch more jutsu from the forbidden scroll, homie would have been using Kage level jutsu

@@bank2378 Part 1 being part 1; Hiruzen is the strongest Kage behind Minato, Naruto is a genin that managed to overpower Haku, a character that a kiri swordsman said was better than him who, in turn, was better than Kakashi, and skill was lower on the totem pole than hard work.
Part 2, in particular the war arc, straight up ruined everything established in part 1.
I don't know if you're immensely dedicated or fucking insane to do this, but either way you've made my day.

The issue everybody has with Sakura being that strong is because powerscaling wise it doesn’t make sense, but I feel like Kishi wanted to have that moment of “Team 7 is all grown up and strong together” so he wanted Sakura to be relative to the others without really earning it

Sakura trained with a Sannin able to fuck up madaras Sussano, She has more control of her chakra then her mentor and was fighting Sasori when she was younger. In Shippuden shes clearly seen to be stronger then OG Naruto, Even if she didn't do absolutely shit in that duration. Plus the 100 healings is a medical ninjutsu which Sakura is a pro at. I don't mind shit talking her but let's not ignore the facts

If Orochimaru had perfected Edo Tensei earlier the show would have just ended because Hashirama would have just murdered Orochimaru the moment Orochimaru ordered him to kill Hiruzen and since Edo Tensei doesn't stop when the caster dies the hidden leaf would just have A nearly full power Hashirama and Tobirama both of which are immortal and have unlimited chakra. So Orochimaru's own ineptitude for mastering Edo Tensei saved him and the rest of the show.

@@deerofdreams1783 They clearly didn't develop Edo Tensei before shippuden, which was when that encounter with Orochimaru and Tobirama happened (early in the original Naruto), but yes if they used the theory they created in the war arc of Shippuden, that Orochimaru isn't able to control them due to their chakra levels, they would just turn around and kill him.
Imagine a scenario where Hashirama trains Naruto (as his wood style would keep the nine tails in check) And Tobirama trains Sasuke (since his dickhead fanboy Danzo got them all killed, and Hashirama would definitely have him make some amends for that whole situation he inadvertently caused through his Uchiha racism.)
KCM Naruto moves faster, which is why he broke his ankle the first time he used it and Gai had to intercede to fight Kisame; it was too fast for him to handle at first. Sage mode has a lot of sensory advantages, which is why it allows for incredible reaction times.
To further illustrate that point, remember how Kakashi was told not to use the Raikiri because he couldn't react to a counter? Chakra-based abilities can amp someone's speed up past the point they can even perceive what's going on. Kakashi solved this with the Sharingan, and Naruto solved this at first by switching to sage mode when he needed to respond to someone with insane speed, then later by combining KCM with sage mode.
Yep pretty much, also sage mode could be argued to allow for some kind of precog movement in the case of danger sence etc. allowing for that kind of movement when KCM couldn't. In terms of travel speed tho, KCM is just implied and shown to be much faster.
The 3rd raikage thing is also tricky because naruto only used sage mode since he couldn't use KCM in that instant, it had run out basically, but I will admit that's pretty ambigious.
This also makes the preta path interception less mega insane, as sage mode would still be very quick, but not like raikage quick.

1:30:49 I believe the given reason for Choji not eating the pills in the war is that he has at that point mastered the Amikichi clan jutsu. The pills are essentially medicine that rapidly converts their fat and calories into pure chakra to enhance their power. But once he fights in the war, he ends up mastering his own chakra/calorie control, meaning he doesn't need the pills. If I remember right, Choji's dad straight up says "Yeah, the pills won't help anymore". But I could be remembering it wrong.
EDIT: Added a timestamp to Swag's comment and also clarified that I might be remembering wrong, since I haven't read the manga in a while.
Swag wasn't asking why he didn't use them in the war. He wondered why he didn't use them when Pain attacked the leaf village. Yeah, during the war arc, he evolves past needing them, but up till that point, those pills were still his ace in the hole, so why didn't he or his dad use them against Pain?

Sakura hitting Kaguya was circumstantial. She's not striking her without Naruto or Sasuke. Sakura also received zero buffs or training between the time she obtained byakugou seal, to fighting Kaguya.

I would also say Fused Kisame is a bit low-balled. He bodies V2 Bee really hard. If it weren't for Samehada's betrayal, the fight would have been almost a stomp. It was one-sided without Kisame even aiming for the kill. The big thing is that pretty much any fight where Kisame can use the water dome jutsu means he's faster than his opponent. His speed in the water is just untouchable.
As for base Kisame, as long as he has Samehada, tanking a rasenshuriken is not a concern. He'd just absorb it. This is what makes him so scary: how many characters rely on easily absorbable ninjutsu. Even biju cloaks aren't a concern for him. He took a nasty hit from V2 Bee in base, but Bee was immediately reverted to V1 from chakra loss after one attack.

A little pushback on the Delta scaling: Kawaki explicitly states that Naruto is directing Delta in such a way that her attacks don’t hit him, Boruto, and Himawari. That being said, him not being able to use his strongest jutsu, along with the fact that he had to strategically direct her movements should scale her a good amount below Naruto. Being able to guide and direct an opponent, while being suppressed due to not being able to use your most powerful techniques, is a severe handicap. So, yeah, he might’ve been going “all out”, but it wasn’t just in the sense of fighting her to beat her. It was much more than that.

Six i love you but Kage summit sasuke could barley stand up to 2 of the kage, let alone all of them, and Naruto's shadow clones were relative to a kage and he made like 12 of them. The clones were also treated as more important than any other human life during the fights, and naruto wasn't even fatigued.

The bottom of this tier list definitely depends on how much respect you give to the title of "Chunin."
Land of Waves Sasuke smacks the two Chunin-level demon brothers. Which makes it seem shitty.
However, after all the fights in the Chunin exams, the only one who gets promoted is Shikamaru. Which makes it seem significant.
You don't even makes sense. You would if you remembered that to become a chunin it's not just about fighting power but leadership skill and so on. When the Sasuke vs Garaa fight got interrupted, Genma, the proctor said to Sasuke that he is already at chunin level and that his first chunin mission would be to follow and take out Garaa
Well don’t forget that the exam was ambushed before finishing so they didn’t get to chose properly. Also Sasuke is a chunin level fighter, but that doesn’t mean he’s capable of leading a squad.

All of shikamaru's intelligence feats are pretty overhyped even by the show itself imo. Whenever shino fights he outsmarts his opponent with practical, reasonable tactics that work, as opposed to shikamaru's overly complicated plans that have statistically failed more than they succeeded.
There’s a video about how OP Shino is that deserves a watch. I honestly think he’d do pretty well against Gaara just because the bugs could burrow through the sand. And then I think he blows through the sound four. He’d have some trouble with Kidomaru’s archery or Jirobo’s strength, but if he can stay well hidden (like a ninja should) he could get the drop on them and take them out before they could retaliate.
No matter how many ninja the Kazekage sent after Gaara, not one of them was able to come close to touching Genin Gaara. So if weightless Rock Lee was able to hit Gaara multiple times to the point where his Sand Armor broke, he’s got to at least be Jonin-Level. Note that Might Gai made his team take the Chunin Exams late. This is why by Shippuden, Neji is already a Jonin unlike the rest of the people around his age.

@@Alela17 Well there’s a huge difference between Jonin and High Jonin level. If Part 1 Kakashi took on Hayate, it would be a pretty short fight. Technically, even Jiraya was a Jonin. There’s a huge range of power in the Jonin Rank, and there’s a minority who is of Kage-level power who may or may not have what it takes to be an actual Kage. Neji had some Jonin-level aspects to him, but he obv wasn’t a fully seasoned Ninja by this time.

this is the king of content of all Naruto power discussion, the content of content, the great content after the advent of which no other content will be needed, the content to end all content.
Biggest issue with powerscaling - not just for Naruto but all Shonen in general like One Piece, Bleach etc. - is that the authors of those series don't make tier lists where their characters rank in power like fans do and stick to it. They make it up as they go along based on how they feel or what the story and plot demands.
The authors don't add up all their multipliers they give characters to figure out where character's stand via calc's. Author don't give Character A a better feat than Character B to show A is stronger. Authors don't backup every boost in power a character gets by explaining it logically like they trained or unlocked a new technique which boosts their power etc. Authors just make characters as powerful as they want on the fly and draw cool fights.
Does it make sense Sakura got a ludicrous boost in power out of nowhere with no logical explanation to the point she went from being unable to make Madara flinch to smacking Kaguya around like she were her personal bunny-eared punching bag? No. There is no logical in-universe explanation - "mental amp" or other - as to where this boost in power came from because it didn't come from in-universe, it came from Kishimoto wanting his three main characters to all be roughly on par in power by the series end because of thematic narrative and symbolism. Because unlike fans, authors don't give a damn about powerscaling. It's their universe so if Kishimoto wants to make Sakura be on par with Six Paths Naruto and Rinnegan Sasuke then he will, even if it doesn't make any logical in-universe powerscaling sense. He's the creator, he'll do as he pleases with his creation, fans and powerscalers be damned.
What’s crazy is that the disagreement amongst fans on her character comes from the symbolism and narrative structure.
I personally don’t think Kishimoto wanted them to be on par with each other at all. I interpreted the significance as them all being together fighting and contributing against Kaguya. There’s nothing symbolic about her being on par with them. They are MEANT the leave her and Kakashi both in the dust. Because the main story is Naruto and Sasuke, it’s all about their reflection in one another.
Sakura’s significance in the story is the taming of Sasuke with her love for him. Her power is irrelevant to me because it’s not her purpose in the story.

I wonder how far Oda in particular does power-scaling, he explictly ranks inside the story the characters of the enemies of most arcs in pretty-defined tiers of power with sizeable jumps in between each. And even the characters themselves by numbering them explictly, at least twice I think it happened.

The structures based around combat power are still very rigid, it clearly seems like a character that is on a certain tier will most often check lower-tier characters very consistently. And people know what a "hokage-level fight/character" is like.
And about characters with gimmicks, it seems to me that even if there are characters that hard-counter other characters, often those just have OP abilities overall and hard-counter many characters that cant just effectively damage them. It's not that the characters cleverly check other characters, most often (of course there are examples of that still).
@@jmeds94 Yeah, I've been thinking basically the same thing while watching this, and about Sakura. She's meant to be slightly stronger than Tsunade, and that's fine.
I think Sakura's physical strength is used to grossly overestimate her overall power and abilities. She managed to damage kaguya but Naruto couldn't because she's PHYSICALLY much stronger than Naruto (she can output more force in her punches and kicks) this doesn't make her upper six paths level cause physical strength isn't all that important in the Naruto world. Overall skill and combat ability is what matters. To put it into perspective, tsunade is physically stronger than madara but that doesn't mean she's more powerful and she definitely wouldn't scale to him. We saw how saw how her fight with madara went.
It also seems weird that Sakura was Abel to actually break kaguyas horn it seems anime actually corrected it

Can't believe you forgot to scale Fetus Sarada, one of the most slept on characters in anime. She was able to cripple a Post-War Sakura and even incapacitate her with her final attack, leaps and bounds above anything Jiraiya or Itachi could do.
This means that fetal Hagoromo and Hamura are the most OP fetal characters for their damage to Kaguya.

I just finished watching the whole thing. Firstly, I wanna say you, Six, and Seth are absolute beasts. To be able to do this thoroughly with this many characters for that many hours straight, while dealing with the mental cognitive dissonance of shonen power scaling and other inconsistencies across the series is genuinely impressive. It was evident throughout the video how much excruciating thought you guys had to put into the placement of characters and it's great to see that level of detail for a topic that is pretty much going to be eternally debated.
This will be a long comment so to whoever's reading, bear with me. I'm gonna do my best to give my thoughts on this tier list. I will start off by saying the majority of my disagreements comes from two points:
1. As others mentioned, a lot of placements are highly based on physical feats (Sakura) and I feel like skill feats and even mental feats (who is better at adapting, more intelligent/analytical, doesn't get too cocky like Danzo did) are undervalued a bit here. I also think hype is actually a bit undervalued here too, as feats can be drastically inconsistent throughout Naruto (for example, how Sai and Kankuro are written to beat Deidara and Sasori with the help of a bunch of random jonin is beyond me).
2. I also think many placements within tiers are too based on if they can beat other people within that tier. For example, Rasenshuriken Naruto was used as a bar for a lot of placements. Imo placements should be more based on a character's ability to battle the overall Naruto roster, not just certain people. If I make up a hypothetical character named Madara Killer who can OHKO Madara, but loses to everyone else, that wouldn't put that character in the highest tiers. From what I understand, this is one of the thought processes behind actual fighting game tier lists.
With that out of the way, let me write out some thoughts. Just know I'm reading bottom up:
- I think Rock Lee (4th Gate) and Gaara (Chuunin Exams) should be in High Chuunin, maybe Sasuke/Naruto as well, and Sound Four in their base forms moved down a tier. It's weird putting Chuunin Exam genin so high but Rock Lee and Gaara were just busted, and would be able to overpower/outmanuever some of the retrieval arc genin plus the base Sound Four. Also the base Sound Four just straight up 1v4'd Sasuke if I recall correctly and he did pretty well. Otherwise, I agree with the rest of it pretty much up until that point.
- On a similar note, I think CS2 Kimimaro and Neji should be at the top part of Elite Jonin. I think Jugo (Transformed) should also be moved down (I really don't see him beating Kakuzu, Chiyo, Tailed Beasts, etc.). Jugo and Suigetsu being higher than Kimimaro is just weird to me, and Kimimaro was fighting 3 different people while being terminally ill, and basically was about to win before he died on the spot. Any time Kishimoto makes someone sick, that says to me that the character is actually way stronger and he just needs to find a way to kill that character. For Neji, him being behind Hinata, Shikamaru, and Ino in the War Arc is just weird to me. He was always a level of skill above when it came to the core genin. If this means moving up retrieval arc Gaara too, I'm fine with that. Gaara was always sorta busted as a genin.
- I agree Kakuzu is the 2nd weakest Akatsuki member (probably gonna get some shit for this) but I'd at least put him above the 6 tailed beast guys. Maybe Yagura above Han too, but I don't care too much about that. I also think Temari and Kankuro (War Arc) are a tier too high. No way they'd beat Deidara, multiple stronger forms of Naruto and Sasuke, and Tailed Beasts while matching up with people like base Killer Bee. Kankuro specifically shouldn't be that high up because he kinda just sucks tbh and shouldn't be higher than Chiyo. What does he do other than plagiarize all of Sasori's puppet work? Also, I'm happy to see Sasori that high up. I actually think that's justified. He's part of the "Kishimoto had to find a way to kill him" squad.
- Mainly because of the physical feats point I mentioned before delving in, I think all the Sakuras are just too high. I know many people have already stated that disagreement, but I think she would realistically be closer to Tsunade. Even if she did stuff during the Kaguya fight, I feel like she was only able to because of her physical prowess and Kishimoto was just trying to find a way to shoehorn her in. She doesn't have the versatility, super speed, super defense, crazy whack jutsu, etc. to be comparable to Sasuke and Naruto that many times.
- I know Shisui wasn't ranked but I presume he would be in Demi-God tier. Also, I wish we got to see prime Itachi and Nagato, but I think with Edo, their placements are reasonable. Maybe they could both be a couple spots higher? I know Kabuto Sage Mode battled both EMS Sasuke and Edo Itachi, but the win condition for the Uchihas was to capture, not kill, and that's significantly harder to do when Kabuto had an insane terrain advantage and they basically had to fight on his terms. I also think even if Itachi and Nagato wouldn't be able to beat Kabuto Sage Mode, they have a significantly better matchup against people in higher tiers.
These are my thoughts. I welcome constructive discussion. Once again, thanks so much Swag and friends for making this.

I agree with everything shisui is Demi god because he scales to itachi just wit out the op susanoo abilities other than that his genjustu is better his speed is faster plus it was stated his fires styles was one of the strongest because how he manipulated it with his blade also the chakra nature wind along sides the fire. A small detail to add is his ken justu was elite too so itachi and shisui are equal if not give shisui the small edge lmao his my fav character.
Sakura I like her but her character is poorly written but she’s not keeping up wit hashirama and madara durability and raw power they literally fought for days non stop can change the whole landscape and treat multi tailed beast like pets also their battle iq are higher imagine growing up in the warring age when your fighting since your 7 or can manage to hold a blade. On top of that Sakura is the best medical ninja no doubt but hashirama cells are OP plus he can regenerate his own organs instantly wit no hand seals

Maybe it's chakra itself why Kaguya didn't reacted to Sakura. Hagoromo gave Sasuke and Naruto chakra that was familiar to her. So she was focused on something that she knows and recognises.

Kaguya's durability and Naruto(base) is entirely different. That feat of Sakura is also different because she was able to not only destroy her horns but also disfigure Kaguya's face.

Swag, you need to understand there’s a discrepancy between just being physically stronger than somebody than overall being stronger. You admit it yourself that start of shippuden Kakashi is above Sakura & Naruto, but forget Kakashi thinks a punch by her would kill him… but that doesn’t mean he’ll lose the fight just due to that deduction. Sasori’s fight with her is similar. Sasori would die if his body was hit by her, but Sakura on her own isn’t winning that fight regardless of that notion.
War Arc Sakura could PERHAPS one shot Juubito, but is she going to get to? No, he won’t allow her. Once Obito realized senjutsu and taijutsu was his weakness (which he acknowledges after Naruto hits him via teleportation w/ Tobirama), he began taking it a bit seriously and their teleportation just flat out doesn’t work. Nor are they able to blitz him. If Juubito decides to fly and crimson barrier juubi blast Sakura, she loses. Juubito was clearly so much stronger than everybody there and lost only to Naruto breaking his resolve. So no, she’s getting negged by him too.
Now here we are with Kaguya.. just like Six said, Kaguya doesn’t acknowledge Sakura WHATSOEVER. If Sakura is this one shot god potential character like you claim she is, then she should’ve just one shotted all of the six path characters that stood against her.. but she didn’t.. because overall she is much weaker. Also, Juubito is aware of Minato and Tobirama’s teleporting shenanigans. So obviously he’d be prepared for it, this is not a speed feat for Sakura lol. Kaguya is preoccupied with Naruto and Sasuke primarily, so obviously the person she regards as irrelevant she won’t really pay attention to. Six brings up great points against your claims regarding her. There’s a lot more to these fights than just raw powerscaling, there’s story connotations toward them as well. Sasuke and Naruto only get the better of Juubito despite him being vastly superior because of what’s happening in the story and how Naruto is cracking him down emotionally. If you put bloodlusted Juubito, no story, then he obliterates them. It’s a similar thing to war arc Sakura scaling above people characters like Juudara just because she hit a careless Kaguya. Ironically, you state that context matters regarding Naruto hitting Kabuto with the rasengan but fail to apply that logic towards Sakura hitting Kaguya.
But yes, Adult Sakura would one shot Juudara. Madara’s dead and she’s had 10 years to get stronger, bit hard to refute it. You can have that, I guess.

@@EOMMunaware harsh. In terms of accomplishments there’s no comparison between her and the rest of the main cast, but she’s really not as useless as people think. I would argue that she is top 10 by the end of the series as far being the most powerful/capable characters.
I don't think Sakura staggering Kaguya for a brief moment is a sign of high power level. Tsunade probably would be able to do the same. I think she belongs to Kage level(which is still remarcable considering how ass she was during the whole series).

Swag makes compromises to agree with Six 🥲 he didn’t wanna agree that sage mode hit harder than KCM. Plus when he fights Nagato and Itachi he point blank says he’s A LOT stronger than he was when he fought against Pain
My mans said he'd put Edo Nagato below Edo Itachi if Six lets him put Sage Kabuto above Edo Itachi. That's a damn deep compromise on Swag's part lol

The problem with kiba is that he never gains another standout move apart from fang over fang, the majority of his moves are just slight modifications that strengthen his base move but unlike Naruto where his various rasengan are all noticeably different in power, fang over fang always just seems basic and weak

Yeah, this was something I disliked. I get the other Leaf village classmates aren’t the main focus, but it would have been nice for them to show or come up with new moves for each of them. Just to show SOME development.
This is also what happened to Naruto tbh. Naruto got stronger, but it was never because he got new moves. He basically just learned rasengan and another version of it from the OG naruto it until he killed Kakazu… then he learned sage mode. But his “moves” are still the exact same. Then he got KCM and it was still the same moves except he could use a chakra arm. All he uses are shadow clones, 9tails chakra (not even his), and different forms of rasengan. Sasuke on the other hand has new moves or strategies almost every fight. He is doing something thing. He has was more “moves” in his arsenal. But Naruto just has insane chakra and 9 tails chakra. For the main character, he needed to learn new stuff. With all his “power” he should have been able to learn flying raijin or some of Jiraiya’s moves, or some Uzumaki sealing jutsu. Just feel like they could have made Naruto a “cooler” fighter. I could basically predict everything that Naruto would do in a fight. He would spam shadow clones and rasengans and then use talk no jutsu.
And still Swag put him above C1 Sasuke and 4th Gate Lee which is dumb AF

No way you guys ranked Madara alive EMS who fought Hashirama alive Sage Mode ABOVE that SAME Hashirama. Hashirama won that battle- and that Madara had to resort to USING THE 9 TAILS CLOAKED SUSANOO VERSION AND STILL LOST. Awful ranking for those 2 specific characters. What more do you need than him literally beating that version of madara? Insane

The Nine Tails wasn't a factor in there fight it lasted about 2 seconds gets beat and then Madara goes on to fight Hashirama alone for 24 hours in which Hashirama is visibly way more damaged then Madara at the end of there fight

One big point in favor Tobirama: He's one of the few characters shown to be able to break out of Edo Tensei through sheer power. The only reason why Orochimaru managed to stop him was because he was reincarnated in a Zetsu body. Now this is pretty nutty, since Kabuto's Edo Tensei were reincarnated into regular human bodies, yet someone like Nagato couldn't break out of it.
Where was it said that being reincarnated in a zetsu body make the person weaker then the regular edo tensei?

They don't answer these kinds of questions. I asked them once if Hidan was able to use the 8 gates would he die or would he be one of the strongest but they told me too many factors to consider and it's one of those things that not even they have a answer to and we'd have to ask the author.

Though situations like this are probably why most jutsu are as tightly controlled as they are by clans, I mean yeah to protect the business interest but could you imagine what would happen if someone who could regenerate (a trait that is known to exist) got their hands on the gates? Would the same rules still apply to them?

It definitely sounds incorrect but there are a lot of statements surrounding boro that would make him as strong as the other Kara members(code,delta,koji, etc…..) and Sarada puts in the most work against Boro before he goes berserk so Sarada should at least someone scale to boro. It’s just boruto going crazy with the power creep and not really caring about how much sense it makes narratively.

To be fair, I don't think it's even possible to make an accurate ranking that's more than a 6 or 7/10 in terms of how serious. Between the inconsistencies in the series, the ambiguity of many of the statements and showings, the unbalanced context in many of the fights, and the variety of weird powers and match-ups, a comprehensive ranking using linear powerscaling just isn't going to work in naruto.

For the Ashura vs Biju Saske I always leaned twords naruto because he makes the 2 attacks with half of Kurama while Indras arrow requires Sasuke to juice up with 8.5 tailed beasts. Also Naruto is fighting for a stalemate in the valley of the end while Sasuke is going for the kill. There is something to be said for a lightning attack neutralizing an attack that's partially a wind release though.
