I’ve been working on a “tommy project” these past few days and I just finished it, it’s a smaller austrian vienna regulator case (it looks like it hosted a 1 weight movement) and I had a spare new haven banjo clock movement laying around that fit perfect. The dial is a “tommy ish dial” and i made the pendulum myself. I will upload a video very soon
Hi.I love your videos. You inspired me to start collecting. And also my three favorites are Doldonia 30 hour regulator Your Philip hass you just fixed and the Juanhangs braket clock. You are my favorite youtuber.I hope to see more updates on clocks and on how you are doing. From your #1 fan Sid.Have a great day!!
Thanks PD Guy! It's good that I have brought some happiness to someone! Actually I sold that Doldonia, but I have another now which I intend to fix up someday.
Really enjoyed all that and you have the skills to do all this, so you should indeed be proud and chuffed. So, is your plan still to move down south and rekindle your love?
Thanks Gaius. I do intend to move away, yes, but love is not on the cards... I think I'm better off and happier on my own. I intend to catch up with my recent clock projects, and I still have a mounting list of running repairs to do.
@@TommyWylie Many thanks for your informative reply. I trust you have checked out the employment situation down south before 'jumping ship'. I look forward to seeing and hearing more about your projects as you find time to get on with them.
Moving won't be for a couple of years at least. I intend to get as many clocks completed as possible by then, but some will inevitably have to be sold.
Your video is really interesting and I'd say you're a great clock collector!

point of me commenting this is what you said at the end about “bits lying around and using them to make something” and that’s what i did

Thanks! I plan to start putting clocks on my channel as well.
By far this was my favorite video of yours! How many clocks do you own as of today?
I have around 30 set up at present, but there are many more waiting to be fixed up!
It would be cool if you could make one from scratch :)

Thanks Tommy. Save up hard for move and get logistics sorted out.
Great
Can you do a video of your clocks chiming at noon
Actually I have planned that video for some time now... but I'm going to wait until I have a few more clocks completed first!
Before fix your drop dial clock
Did you hang the light clock I saw it higher in the glass reflection of the cabinet
@@hurricanicclocks Yes I did indeed. It needs a small touch-up to a scratch on the dial, but I haven't got round to doing that yet.
