Ashley, the Golden Triangle you are referring to is the Bukit Bintang area or more popularly referred to as the New York of Malaysia. Look for Lot 10 or the Pavillion which are two of the famous landmarks there. Btw the so called nasi lemak you had was more like nasi kandar. Go to Wanjo in Kampung Baru , they have the best and authentic nasi lemak in KL. And what the heck did you pay SG$35 for the durians. Singapore has no durians, they all come from Malaysia.. Go to Penang , you will love it .
Oh interesting! Thanks for the tip
Selamat Datang ke Malaysia..Kuala Lumpur.😊
Thank you!
That 2nd tallest building spire is actually world's highest observation deck. You can actually go inside it.
The building wasn’t open to the public at the time I filmed this unfortunately
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾
Do explore more places and we will gonna watch it 👍
Thank you for watching! I have a new Malaysian video dropping this week
You can consider visiting these places later:
1. Saloma Bridge (best visited at night, accessible by walking from the Petronas Twin Towers) - It's a bridge that connects the city to Kampung Baru, also known as the New Village.
2. In Kampung Baru, you must try the famous Nasi Lemak Wanjo restaurant. However, there might be other great nasi lemak places depending on people's preferences.
3. Batu Cave Temple (approximately 20-30 minutes from the city center, accessible by Grab, KTM Batu Cave train, or other public transport options).
4. Central Market (near Paser Seni MRT) - a great place to shop for souvenirs and gifts.
5. Petaling Street (near Paser Seni MRT) - located near Central Market, it's another excellent shopping and cultural destination.
6. Pavilion Mall - conveniently close to the Bukit Bintang MRT train station.
7. Jalan Alor - known for its delicious food and Burger Ramly stalls, it's also near the Bukit Bintang MRT station.
8. National Mosque of Malaysia (Masjid Negara) - near Medeka Square - near Masjid Jamek LRT
Enjoy your trip to Malaysia! 🥰🥰"
I have been to a few of these places already, check out my other videos. Thank you for the great recommendations!
Yes, the view from KL Tower is better. 👍👌
Glad I made it up there!
Another happy tourist..Welcome to Malaysia,Sir..Thank you so much for coming here..
My pleasure, I love Malaysia!
9.13k subscribers.. Let me change that.. welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 be careful and be super vigilant around your surroundings especially walking around the pedestrian path which sometimes will bring you to nowhere (dead end) and also those sneaky hidden hole from the drainage cover (concrete/steel) wobbly trap..
Thanks for the tip!
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾Ashley! Have a wonderful day!
Thank you so much! You too 🙏🏽
The best 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾thanks Brother.
Anytime! 🇲🇾
Ugh all the food from your trip looks so good 😋
You would of loved it!
respectful 4th Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir - under his premiereship, MALAYSIA transformed into modern country with fully developed infrastructure and megacity
Oh cool!
Nasi lemak means rice cooked with coconut milk. Want to try more Malay cuisine, try exploring Kampung Baru, not far from the Petronas Twin Towers. You just have to cross the bridge called Pintasan Saloma and you will reach the village. There is a famous Nasi Lemak restaurant called Wanjo. In front of Wanjo Restoran there is another restaurant called Suraya Seafood and you can try special dishes from the East Coast namely Nasi Dagang and Nasi Kerabu.
From the Petronas Twin Towers you can also follow an underground tunnel and an air-conditioned bridge directly to Pavallion Bukit Bintang. The journey may take 20 minutes because the distance is about 1 kilometer. You can also use the LRT on the subway or under Klcc and go straight to Bukit Bintang. In Bukit Bintang, some vloggers used to call it the Time Square of Malaysia. Not far from the Pavilion there is a night market where there are many restaurants and quite popular with tourists on Jalan Alor. A few blocks further you will find Jalan Changkat where most tourists spend the night for happy hour in a row of bars and lounges.
Wow! Thanks for the great recommendations!
@@Ashleysplanet You're most welcome!
Nasi lemak means rice cooked mix with coconut milk.😊
Your saying ' sitting on gold' is correct literally and in reality too. This peninsular of Malaysia has '3 gold belt', real gold.
Basic nasi lemak comes with white rice (cooked with coconut milk), fried peanuts, fried enchovies, cucumber, sambal & boiled/fried egg. U may add other vegs & meats for topping. U may want to go wanjo at kampung baru to try out the real nasi lemak. Keep us updated n njy ur stay😊
More veggies sound delicious, thanks for the recommendation
Fried peanuts are not available at wanjo
yess ... but u came to the right place for a delicious food ...'nasi lemak royale' is one of the famous restaurant, origin from the state of Malaysia Northern region, Kedah..
Wow. Amazing and enjoy your stay
Fun Fact: When at a Mall do visit the Food Court... Malaysians randomly escape the day heat at a Mall... so the Food Court is quite decent... lots of options...
Sir you are welcome,,enjoy your trip.
Thank you!
What you ate for dinner was actually not the classic nasi lemak (our national dish) but nasi kandar that originated from Kedah, which just happens to have a confusing name. A normal nasi kandar only has white rice, but what you ate was a popular type of Kedah's nasi kandar that uses yellow rice with a creamy taste (thus the name). But that's essentially a nasi kandar, and not the normal nasi lemak (rice is cooked in coconut milk). You must eat the classic nasi lemak, preferably bought from a small stall sold by a Malay elderly. Anyway, that van that brought you up to KL Tower does has a KL Tower signage on the doors. And you have a much better chance of securing KLCC tower tickets online. Happy visiting Malaysia!
Thanks for the great info!
Nasi kandar Not Kedah,is from penang
@@JetkawaiiA yes, clearly nasi kandar in general originated from Penang. But what I was saying above is that Nasi Lemak Royale RESTAURANT is specifically a franchised nasi kandar restaurant that originated from Kedah. I just wanted to explain to the CZcamsr that what he was eating was not nasi lemak but a type of yellow nasi kandar that was established and popular in Kedah but now has become popular in other parts of Malaysia. I know this because Kedah is my hometown and the original gerai was nearby my old house.
Glad you enjoyed every moment in KL. There are lots of places to visit and plenty of food for you to savour.
Oh yes, I'll be returning just for the food!
Great review . Tq for visiting Malaysia bro ...
Thank you! Its my pleasure
welcome to Malaysia ad enjoy your stay!! :)

Welcome to Malaysia bro have a nice day here...
I will, thank you so much!
It is not for you to decide whether spire counts or not. It is the decision of the council for tall buildings and urban habitants.
Everybody is welcome to an opinion
Hi Ashley, welcome to Malaysia.. Have a nice day..
Thank you!
Welcome to Malaysia, enjoy your stay here...if you love island..yiu can explore Redang Island or Perhentian Island in Terengganu, East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia
Good to know, thank you so much
Happy traveling in Malaysia. You can get a complete and accurate information through several government agencies, especially from Tourism Malaysia.
• i'm watching from Melaka, Malaysia 🇲🇾🌺
Thank you so much!
Amazing video 🎉
Thank you Mikey!
Enjoy your staying broo...✌️😃 Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾
Thank you so much 😀
When ordering Fruit Juice, you can ask for NO SUGAR, sometimes they add water if they use blenders, but if they use juicers then no added water...
Friday is prayer day in the afternoon... as in like Sunday for church...
Hiya.. welcome to fascinating Malaysia 🇲🇾😊
That Nasi Lemak you ate was Kedah's style.. yellow colour..not a regular one.. The authentic Malay Nasi Lemak is white colour, it's a rice mixed with coconut cream/milk.. "Nasi Lemak" literally means "creamy rice", eat with chilie sambal, anchovies, peanuts, cucumber and hard boiled eggs..you may add water spinach, fried chicken and beef rendang etc. For best Nasi Lemak nearby golden triangle is in Kampong Baru..you can try it in Wanjo, Kak Chuk, Kak Som, Seri Tanjak and many more in eateries there.. Gotta try MALAYSIA'S roti chanai the number 1 best street food in the world with many varieties, tea tarik and not forgetting the famous Ramly Burgers..
Now I remember you looked like George Of The Jungle.. watchout for the tree.. 😂😂😂
Thanks for the great tips!
I loved that movie
Hi, a new subs here😊😊
Welcome!
Ramly Buger😋🇲🇾
Soooo good
must go to PUTRAJAYA... the administrative center of malaysia which is all modern and beautiful scenery... especially the putra mosque (pink)
I'll check that out, thanks!
nasi lemak royal is authentic of kedah dishes.Simple but very delishes
Great food!
nothing to hide, just some places are not to be visited for certain reasons... just follow any rules, and you good.
True true
Well come to Malaysia Bro have are nice 👍 trip
Thank you so much!
The meal you had is not really Nasi Lemak, but more like nasi kandar. Essential Nasi Lemak is the rice cooked with cocunut milk and served with anchovies, sambal and cucumber. Chicken or beef come as condiments.
Try to look our original local food at Kampung Baru (malay food), Petaling Street (chinese food) or Brickfields (Indian food). The local food at those areas are more authentic and cheap. Tips: AVOID eating at Jalan Alor as you will be ripped off with crazy prices.
Great info, thanks!
Welcome to Malaysia bro
Tq for sharing
My pleasure!
Welcome to Malaysia, tanah bertuah .
Thank you!
Welcome to Malaysia hope you have a great time. I am Malaysian but I live in England. Some people asked me where I from ? When I said Malaysia. What are you doing here?? They said Malaysia is nice country because some of have been to Malaysia for holiday.
should visit more enjoyable malls - mid-valley megamall, sunway pyramid megamall, pavilion megamall (bukit bintang and bukit jalil), lalaport mall , kl east mall and and and so much others mall
Oh cool, maybe I’ll do a whole video on one of these
Yes we produced semi conductors and chips, low yatt mall is the preferred place to shop
Oh cool!
Nasi lemak Royale got squid's egg to go with nasi lemak.😋😋😋
You look so nice/handsome in personality.. If you are an actor or a footballer, you must be so famous.. Welcome to Malaysia.. ❤
Thank you!
underground techno/house scene is pretty nice too
I'll definitely check it out, anywhere in particular you would recommend?

Welcome to Malaysia
Thank you!
Moment 'kidnap' was said, I left the room.
Mate, did u find Hamilton's car inside that klcc tower? There is a replica of lewis" car hanging right above the petronas office entrance. My British friend said that he regards petronas klcc as the pride of British, because of lewis Hamilton 6 titles with merc PETRONAS
Oh yes I did! It was just slightly out of the frame at 10:53. If I would of knew of it’s importance’s before hand, I would of put some footage of it! Thanks for the cool fact
Must try ramly buger Malaysia
I did! It was incredible
Remember Malaysia is a hot and humid country. Most of the best Malaysian food is spicy, so when ordering food you must order a drink or two together. Keep hydrated
Thanks for the tip! I only didn't have one though because I had a lot of water in my backpack already
🥰🥰🥰
🙏🏽
✌️😁🇲🇾♥️🏴🇬🇧
🙌🏽🇲🇾
Gabriel Batistuta in Malaysia 😀😀
hi mike, if you buy something please don't bargain..😂 the price given is the local price. I know the value of the currency in your country is very high compared to the ringgit, and that is cheap enough for you.
The Petronas Twin Towers house the National Oil Company aka Petronas (Petrolium Nasional)
At @24:43 what was that black thingy ran from your plate to the blue chopping board and back?
You scared me then! I’m pretty sure it’s just a mark on the glass haha
Good shocked
Good shocked yes
Do come to Kelantan
Maybe next year!
That is not Nasi lemak. It's nasi kandar. Nasi lemak is cooked with coconut milk , with Sambal, eggs, peanuts, cucumber n enchovies. You can choose other side dishes too like chicken or beef.
Oh interesting!
no lady escort in Malaysia.Thailand vietnam all over you can choose.that's why the tourist to Thailand is triple of malaysia.
eyyy RM6 is quite mahal yaa. ke mmg skrg harga fresh juice gitu. tp ofkoslah x semahal boost juice tu.
Being a Malaysian. what you had was not Nasi Lemak. Nasi. yes means Rice and Lemak means Fatty or Rich bcoz it has coconut milk in it. But what you had was more like of Nasi Kandar without curries flooding you rice and again should be white instead of yellow
Oh damn, it was still delicious though!
hi bro, don't wear long sleeve shirt when you are walking around KL.wear a T-shirt and always use umbrella to protect you from the sun.this will help to reduce the heat around you.take k.
Good tip!
It Friday prayer that's why it is closed...
Nasik Lemak Royal cannot be defined as Nasi Lemak as it was totally being raped by Indian infusion style. Means, it is not authentic anymore and misslead what the original Nasi Lemak taste like.
"Whopping diamond colored nipples poking out" 😂 motherfather i burst out loud
Hahaha it's true
Not all delicious,if u find right places,,u will come again😂❤,nasi lemak Rendang Ayam ❤🥺🤤🤤🤤🤤
I will be back!
Nasi lemak means creamy rice. The rice cooked with coconut cream. Go for the authentic nasi lemak at kampung baru Wanjo Restaurant
Thanks for the tip!
Better use your right hand whenever eating rice.
Why is that?
Sorry Sir... that is not Nasi Lemak, that is more like nasi kandar.. Nasi Lemak is normally white in color and cooked with coconut milk. Lemak means creamy... I'm not agree they name it nasi lemak.
Mosque never close! Maybe he mean close for tourists 1:01
I was so disappointed
No its not the best spot you need to go through mall to other side and there are photographers there because its best spot..
Oh damn!
26:34 Sorry, that's not nasi lemak to me. Nasi lemak is traditionally accompanied by cucumber, peanuts and anchovies and most telling of all nasi lemak is never yellow in colour. Plus the workers here are not Malaysians but foreign migrant workers from India, Myanmar, etc. Incidentally there are more than 7 million foreign workers in Malaysia (22% of the population) forming 45% of the workforce.
Interesting, thanks!
dats not Nasi Lemak.. dats 👉🏻Nasi Kandar (white rice + mix curry + chicken + cabbage)….. Nasi Lemak (rice with coconut milk taste + sambal chilies + cucumber + peanut + boiled egg)
Oh, good to know! Thanks
Wronggg...that is nasi kuning(yellow rice)
Nasi lemak, white colour and smell good....
sir meet chennel donovan Clayton from englin✌️😁🇲🇾♥️🏴
mouth watering dishes....
Sooo good
Is the heat ridiculous ?? I been living for the past 50 years and been in the army in this heat. Stay in uK k. I though UK is more progressive with steak, pasta and potatoes dish hahahah. Is that even nasi lemak? The restaurant serves yellow nasi lemak. Toast chicken? Didnt know mamak do roast chicken , tell me where , Im on the way there. I encourage you to get to know a local and Let then bring you and get the real taste of Malaysia . I enjoy listening to colonialist talking as though they know everyting after they colonise asia
Its more like to nasi kandar
It was delicious either way!
@@Ashleysplanet yes it is..but you should try the original nasi lemak
Hallo mate or hello mike? 🤔
haha mate!
Whott??? All that plate-filled huge piece 🐓plus others ur dinner cost @ or
Malaysia is nothing but bargains!
Petronas twin towers house the headquarters of the Malaysian oil n gas company. I used to work at level 66 tower 1 before my retirement.
Oh interesting! I bet you had some amazing views from your workplace
Which part of UK are you from?
Wolverhampton!
Nope not nasi lemak by a lightyear. That's just nasi kandar.
what a shame dbkl you let the dataran field in poor shape and just look at brick surrounding the merdeka plaque..is this what you wanna show to the world
nasi =rice Lemak= rich/creamy/full of fat 😂
Good to know!
That is not kind of nasi lemak. If you want to try the best nasi lemak, try Wanjo nasi lemak at Kampung Baru.
I’ll definitely check that out!
Sorry but we eat rice with spoon..
Spoons are optional
That's looks like nasi kandar. .. it's not nasi lemak. You got hookwinged mate. 😊
Hahah so I’ve heard 😭
Video shooting obviously is not your forté I guess. Hehehe
u do realized that shuttle driver to kl tower understand every word you’re saying right?about kidnapping thing.u should learn to respect people.
