Look how he holds himself as a,21 year old absolutely amazing
Look at the youth of today
My goodness
Even back then youths are not like Ali lol
While one of the interviewers was asking a question, and he was mockingly flapping his mouth... He seems about as annoying as any 21 year old. He is naturally very charming of course, but Ali at 21 was still very clearly a brat.
Yes
@@spman2099 wrong
@@KD400_ couldnt be more wrong
I've never seen this before 21 years young and carried himself like that? Look at 21 year olds today lol , rest in power Ali 👑
Chuvalo said: I'll never kiss the canvas. After the fight he lost against Ali, the same night he went on a dinner with his wife and Ali to a hospital due to internal bleeding.
Ali said in a interview that he was his toughest opponent ever.
I'm trying to find it.
After it's my time,
What I'd like to be remembered is,
He took a few cups of Luv
One table spoon of patience
One teaspoon of generosity
One pint of Kindness,
One pinch of Laughter.
He mixed it all together
with a loyal loving heart.
This is really funny. Chuvalo actually matched Ali for theatrics. I’m surprised I never knew about this.
well, he tried. he was pretty embarrassed about this later.
supra1722 He pretty much got the better of Ali with the stunt but may have gone on too long. Nobody else ever punked the master of mind games that I know of.
Ali just couldn’t be trolled. He was edumecated himself.
I know I had no idea
THATS BECAUSE HE DRESSED & SOUNDED LIKE A WOMEN
SEXUAL OVERTONES NOT COOL OR PC BACK THEN IN THE 60S
THIS WENT BEYOND DRAG FOR THE BOXING COMMUNITY
Holysmoke this is freaking HILARIOUS!!!! I NEVER Saw anything like this on any boxing venue in all my years of watching boxing.
Chuvalo was funny as heck 🤣 here and the fact that he actually caught Ali by surprise makes this Comedic gold. Didn't know George had this kind of humorous side to him.
I get the sense this would probably work today with most big name fighters. Show up in a dress and you’ll get your fight
Ohh my lord ! What a treasure Ali was for America .
This was before Ali (then known as Cassius Clay) became champ.
And this is why he was and will be the greatest
Right on he will forever be The Greatest.
Never seen this but I must say Ali was the greatest asset to the boxing world and George chuvalo was also a great Canadian and also a great boxer.
Gran figura el canadiense chuvalo. En una. Época dorada y destacada de la categoría pesado
💯 ❤❤❤
Ali best thing to ever come out of Louisville.
Read George Chuvalo's book. It's well written and very informative. A must for boxing fans.
Titel?

Sin duda es el más grande de todos los tiempos y no hay más
Ali: "You dress just like you fight." George had no comeback for that.
Who ended up in the hospital ,, while George went out dancing after the fight with his wife. Of course Ali won on points ,, but who really won?
it's not how you start IT'S HOW YOU FINISH
@@Boots_on_the_ground And then Ali beat him again 1972 without going hospital 😂😂
@@Boots_on_the_groundMa'am. Chuvalo lost every round of that fight in Toronto. Smh
unless he was training you never see ali in anything other than the nicest suit
Agree 💯! Ali always sharp dressed.
George is definitely a top-notch fighter, solid as they come! Definitely deserves more credit than he gets.
I love his personality, having fun with this moment.
Best punching bag ever for sure lol!
@@gdubbya928 WHO ENDED UP BEING THE ACTUAL PUNCHING BAG? HAHAHA 😂
@@Boots_on_the_ground he goes down in history as such.
What ever they say about George s. He fought foreman, Ali, and Frazer and never went down ! Can you imagine if this guy had punching power. He would have been another Rocky Marciano ! Toughest fighter in modern history !
@@douglaslett7504 he did have the punching power. Chuvalo just needed speed
Ali was still developing his "Act", then. This is great to see.
what do you mean by that ?
@@sjajajajajaja5181 what I mean, is that Ali was an entertainer as well as a boxer. He had seen Gorgeous George the wrestler and got the idea. So he actually developed a ring persona. It worked to publicise his fights and to incite his aponents so they would lose their cool in the ring. In '63, he was still developing that persona .
Thanks for posting this! I never ever saw this! It’s amazing!!!💥🥊
"fastest women and beautiful horses" 😂
I love you Ali🌹😍😍😍😍
A rare footage.. never saw that before.
Ali is bored with how easy it is for him to be charming
George Chavolo was friends with Ali.
Fastest women and the prettiest horses... classic... love it... lol
Lol
Such power and awesome energy he has
This how huge boxing was back then. They had amazing champions learn skits to promote the fights
There was no super bowl in the early sixties the HW boxing title was the most coveted prize in the sports world
@@aarondigby5054Another great point!!
The best ever and I think the father of rap😂
He should have said: “My momma taught me never to raise my hands to a woman. But in your case I’ll make an exception. “
I saw this clip in Facing Ali movie...back inthe days
Excellent upload thank you George Chuvalo has a great sense of humor
The Greatest. Period
Ive Never seen this, where's it been hiding!
The Great Ali, George certainly tough, never down.
Love you Ali
Does anyone have doubt about him being the greatest. Wish he was still around
He's just an arrogant narcissist. It was all an act he learned from Gorgeous George. He dominated the 60s but started falling apart through the 70s. Father time waits for Nobody.
it's not how you start IT'S HOW YOU FINISH
@@Boots_on_the_ground Narcissist? OMG, if that isn't the goto, cliched putdown phrase of the 21st century, I don't know what is.
@@Boots_on_the_ground Uhm you do realize that the Ali talk up was just an act? Don't you?
@@jamesanthony5681 Dr
@@Boots_on_the_ground lol just sf bum
George had Ali speechless for a couple of moments. No small feat.
That was a TOUGH Fight. Ali's Amazing footwork and weapon punching is sooooo freaking crazy to watch. He makes all his fights look like Movies. Chuvalo on the other hand is tougher than stones. I don't think he stumbled once thru the whole fight. Ali was letting him punch him in the body too which is why he took so much punishment by pissing blood. Damaged kidneys.
Here's a fun fact, George never stumbled once in his whole professional career being the only fighter in the history of pro boxing to never be knocked down if Marciano had an iron jaw Chuvalo's is titanium
@@lionheartfilms793 never knocked down but he certainly stumbled against Foreman
Joe Frazier and George foreman stopped him. He was a dirty fighter. As dirty as they come Chuvalo. He would make Holyfield look like saint
@@tonyzanowic7442 True but foreman hit him under his eye where his orbital bone that was broken and was 31
@@lionheartfilms793oliver mccall too btw. He was never officially stopped either. He quit against lewis that was ruled a tko. So technically mccall was never koed or knocked down
Geroge Chuvalo and Ali was so cute ^^
So smart
can we get back to the interview! i wanted to heear his poem re chuvalo!
My brother put new windows in George’s house 😃. Said he was a really nice guy.
He was in an episode of Holmes on Homes. Great guy!!!

Ali and Bundini ❤❤❤
He didnt wanna talk about throwing the medal in the river when they asked about it
George put on quite the Chitlin' Circuit routine. Wonder how that would fly today?

Chuvalo was one of mandatory challengers for the title whoever won the fight between Ali v Liston.
Worse part is, in 71, chuvalo was about to fight liston and heck the contract was signed but liston died before

He was not upstaged. Nobody even laughed at Chuvalo.
What a wierd press conference!!
I can't believe he actually did that. Lol funny

The right will accuse Chuvalo of drag queen grooming if this happened today.
Ali went to Toronto for their sad Canadian comedy act.
I must admit Ali was the greatest but he never knocked down chuvalo. He said George was his toughest opponent and if there was ever a comedy act it would be you you jerk because I am also a proud Canadian.
George Saint Pierre has entered the chat.
@split pomalo except for the fact he was born and raised in Toronto. Last time I checked Toronto is in Canada. Which would make him Canadian.
Ali was there to promote not the Chuvalo fight.. George crashed the presser
Hi I'm
That was kind of cringy
They needed to take it on the road. Work it out in the small clubs, get the timing down.
